Perfect location in a very nice little town by the Beach. BE avare that parking is not possible at the hotel, but paid and safe parking is not far from the hotel

Amazing place to spend a great holiday, great location, water views and next to a little beach, lots of caffes and Restaurants near by, six minutes walk to the train station.

What a view! This hotel was perfectly situated at the corner of a small beach, the ocean, and nearby restaurants. It truly was in the heart of everything. I loved everything about this location. My one and only disappointment was the air conditioning. Although the hotel claimed to have AC, it was not truly controllable, even when lowering the temperature. On several nights, we felt warm.

Great hotel, location and price!

Hotel is in a great position. Whilst it doesn't looks the smartest, everything works. The Receptionist was very friendly and efficient. The rooms with a sea view are lovely.

Amazing view! Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to walk to train station with suitcases. Right near the main strip. Couldn’t ask for more. Will definitely be back.

Staff at front desk is super friendly. Room was very nice size. Loved the shower and the size of it compared to other hotels on our travels. Loved we were located right next to the castle but unfortunately it was closed for renovations. Also close to the train station and we took a nice walk along the water and over to Santa Margherita for shopping and dinner.

Great location and view. Staff were always friendly and helpful. breakfast option was great. 24/7 air-conditioning which is not common at most hotels.

Our room had the best sea view & the sound of the waves was so relaxing. As we were staying late in the season the repair & building work had started but this caused no disturbance or noise. The staff were amazing, the room was great with a powerful & spacious shower. Can't wait to stay again.

Positives: The location is excellent. An easy walk from the train station. Staff are friendly and provided tea making facilities on request. Great views from the upper floor balcony room. Good water pressure in the shower. Room overall, a little too small - restricted access to wardrobe, fridge and safety deposit box. Cleanliness. Negatives: Building work - not notified. Shower cubicle - the position of the shower head limits the space, shower gel container too high, vanity mirrors in the bathroom and the bedroom are too low/high. Water temperature wasn't steady, ranging from hot to cold when using the shower. Overall Rating: 4/5

Beautiful right on the water

Hotel Italia e Lido Rapallo is a great hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was on the fourth floor with a beautiful view of the Rapallo Harbor there was a nice little bistro set on the balcony to enjoy the view and coffee or a cocktail it is centrally located to walk to all the shops and restaurants in Rapalo. The staff was fantastic from front desk to Housekeeping. We will definitely stay there again we had one of the larger rooms and it was still a little on the small side, but typical Italian style The only real drawback was the size of the shower. Similar to a small motorhome shower.

We had a wonderful stay recently in this lovely hotel. It’s in the perfect location with amazing views and the staff were all great.

Location was ideal, the train station was a 5 minute walk, the old town even less, and right on the end of the promenade. Room was clean. Facilities were decent, 2 nice terraces and a good restaurant attached. Plenty of communal spaces. The staff were friendly and informative. Only negative is not on the hotel itself but Hotels.com who showed photos of the Superior Room when selling the Classic Sea View room, which only has a tiny balcony looking awah from the harbour, and is not like the one in the Hotels.com photos
