The most family friendly stay I’ve ever experienced. Happy staff keen to help. Lots of room and ideas for families to relax/ run off steam. Had to change rooms but it was our choice and it was not a bother.

Nice hotel but under Heathrow flight path so very loud at night. Bathroom wasn’t very clean, thick black hair throughout. The entrance to rooms has an awful door system, just take the doors off as it’s pointless and restrictive.

Swimming pool was a lovely warm temperature. The staff we're very helpful, polite and checked us in/out quickly. Breakfast and dinner was nice, there was definitely a large variety to pick our meal from.

Unfortunately there was an event on which was not mentioned and our room was next to this. Event finished at 3.45am with very loud music which rendered sleep impossible.

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures on the website. There is a heritage building which is the reception- and the bedrooms are in wings on the property which are like a low budget travelodge. Definitely not to be booked if you have mobility issues as rooms are many minutes away via narrow corridors and multiple staircases. Beds comfy but shower very poor. Mis-selling! Do not believe the pictures on hotels.com

Booked the hotel for one night. Suggest when booking that you pay close attention to where the room is. I expected a room in the grand white home as shown on the website but we were in one of the adjacent buildings. I regret booking a “courtyard view” not realizing people would be enjoying drinks there well after 11:00 pm. Facilities and staff and dining were good.

The hotel has space but awkward to bring in luggage and negotiate. Displeased to have to lug large bags up stairs with a lift to the floor. Disabled lift didn’t work. Glad to have a room at the end of the building but very small of larger bags and a longer stay. Ok but not sure if I would return.

Beautiful hotel but felt a little squashed in the room as it was a lot smaller than shown on the internet.

This hotel ticks the boxes for a short family stay. Shower was really good and room was clean. Breakfast was replenished regularly and had a good selection. Large groups of men sitting in the pool together made me feel uneasy when I was there with my little girl.

We loved our stay at De Vere Beaumont Estate. Little one loved the swimming pool, nature trail and all the little touches, like the faces on the trees and free popcorn. Nearby were some lovely walks along the Thames and into the national trust woodland.

We booked here as would accept a pet which they did, and we apid the £30 fee, all fine. However, the room assigned was on the first floor down two long corridors and up 2 fligths of stairs and anotehr short flight of stairs. Not the best location for an animal who may need to go outside during the night. Thankfully, she didn't. There appeared to be plenty of ground floor rooms in other blocks, so would have been better to have had one of these. The hotel itself is an impressive array of buildings with stunning grounds. Staff are lovely. Food and drink expensive. Room was tiny and hot. (No aircon, just a small freestanding fan.) Bathroom was lovely, big shower. Water pressure in basin pathetic but shower was fine. Outside bar patio table not wiped down in 24 hours, same coffee spill stain still there next day, I cleaned it off. So, "could have done better" is a fairly good summary.

The hotel is huge and it takes a while to find your way around it. It’s very clean & staff are helpful and attentive. We had a family room and our 12 year old was given a single sofa bed but it didn’t have a mattress so was solid and not fit for purpose but a quick call to reception and they sent a z-bed up which had a mattress so was a lot more comfortable for our son. The bar & restaurants are lovely and quality food and service. Nothing too much trouble. The grounds of the hotel are lovely with areas to sit outdoors for a drink or relax. Overall I would recommend the hotel as a lovely place to stay. We will definitely return.

We had a great stay. It was one of the best priced hotels locally, and we were really pleasantly surprised by the quality. The hotel is really well designed, the grounds are great, and the food in the buffet restaurant was really good with a menu that changed every night. It was also busy enough to have a good atmosphere so we ended up eating there two nights. The beds are comfortable with nice bedding. Only feedback would be that the cleanliness in the pool/gym/changing rooms wasn't great. The double room we booked (room 510) was quite small and the blackout blind wasn't fitted well enough to block the light from the neighbouring stairwell window that was fully lit all night, so our room was quite light all night.

Room too hot. Towel rail operates automatically when bathroom light turned on meant bedroom warmed up really quickly. No air con and fan in room was useless and noisy. Black out blinds didn’t cover window fully so room was bright all night. (Bathroom blind didn’t lift properly, blind in room next door came off window all together!) Didn’t get much sleep as a result and won’t be staying here again.

The area outside the hotel is very nice, with a large lawn, beautiful wisteria flowers, children’s play facilities, and a tennis court. The breakfast is also excellent! And it is closed to Legoland. However, the downside is that the rooms are not soundproof, the in-room amenities are quite basic, the children’s sofa bed is uncomfortable, and conversations in the hallway can be clearly heard.
