Clean room friendly front desk. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Nice and clean with restaurant and bar , no air conditioning. You may feel hot in summer .

The hotel was in a good location, with a waterfall right around the corner. There is also a great restaurant by the name “Kjarr restaurant and bar” at the end of the street. The service was great, and the staff were nice and respectful. Overall, it was a great stay and I would repeat if I was in the area.

Hotel seemed to a tad remote. Not much going on in the area. Wish I had hike to the nearby Sister waterfall less than 1/2 mile from the hotel. Nice dinner and breakfast.

We spent two nights here in June. Great hotel. Rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need. If you are coming in the summer, note that they only have curtains to the windows and not blinds, so light does come in. We used sleep masks and were fine. Fantastic breakfast and big parking lot.

Very expensive in comparison to others in the area.

This hotel is excellent in every way. The room was lovely, comfortable and very quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were excellent too. We have nothing but praise to offer!

A great place to stay if you want to explore the glaciers of the southern Iceland. Highly recommend hotel restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was also fantastic

We stayed for two nights. Long but amazing drive after 3 nights in Rekjavik. We were 1.5 hr drive from glacier lagoon tour (amazing experience on a zodiac). Location of hotel is quiet. It’s a real surprise - bar area is just lovely. Amazing cocktails. We had two complementary for our birthdays!! Ate in restaurant both nights. Great food. Breakfast plentiful. Staff were great - especially Adrianna from Czech Republic. Room 130. Suited us just fine. Bathroom door and lighting not great and walls paper thin. Second night we had very loud neighbours. Had to complain as it went on too long and night staff stepped in. I really hate complaining but some people forget they’re in a hotel.

This property is in a small town that offers several hikes, waterfalls, and historic sites. The hotel was welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the bar area. Breakfast was a great spread and dinner options were tasty. We stayed for two nights in April 2026. There are several charging stations for electric vehicles. We had plenty of outlets in the room. The bed was great, and extra pillows were available. The wifi wasn't the greatest, but it worked. Great place to stay!
