Excellent ! I'm sure the door self-closers could be made to close softly. Some inconsiderate idiots were in the rooms next to us and couldn't be bothered to hold them until they closed. In the early hours when they were pissed up they were constantly opening and slamming doors and shouting. I barely slept after 2 in the morning.

Friendly polite staff in all areas. Easy check in and lots of comfortable seating areas to relax in. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food in the bar was a little disappointing but we did arrive with only half an hour before the end of service so maybe the kitchen was winding down, however the breakfast was really very enjoyable and tasty with plenty of choice. We would happily there stay again.

All excellent, food, room, the hotel and fascilities, will certainly stay again..Very good staff in reception , dining room, was looked after very well.

Everything was excepionly good. The girl on reception was helpful and friendly. The room, the view, the facilities, the breakfast, all faultless. Superb. A1.

Stayed here a few times as we like the area , we love the leisure facilities, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff are excellent

Set in a lovely area of the country. Lovely walks at Tatton Park and Delamere Forest.

The hotel itself is a mixture of old and new. The old building is very grand and welcoming where as the new building is more like an office block. The pool and gym are really good and kept clean. The breakfast is top notch and plentiful as are the grounds surrounding the hotel. The big negative for our stay was the delivery of beer barrels at 7am on a bank holiday morning which happened to be below our family room. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Swimming times vary for children so check first. Overall a decent stay.

Amazing and value for money

The sound of the toilet running in the upstairs room is so loud.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was disappointing. On the web site it states that craft beers are available at the bar, however, when asking for a craft beer we were informed that there were no craft beers available. The restaurant experience was very disappointing. One of our main meals was wrong and had to be taken back in order that the correct meal could be provided as ordered. The other main meal included halloumi skewers, unfortunately the halloumi and mushrooms were cold. Having waited for sometime for someone to take our order for deserts, we then had to wait 25 minutes for the deserts to arrive. A member of staff was very apologetic for the time taken and unfortunately our pineapple upside down puddings were dry and bitter. Our opinion of our stay at this hotel was that the hotel staff certainly need to pay attention to detail. Our room was comfortable.
