The staff were fantastic very friendly and attentive. The spa was really lovely and well run The grounds round the manor house very well looked after and make a very pleasant walk

We loved this hotel. It was great value- we thought it was an amazing breakfast at £15 ppn, which was well cooked, plentiful and varied. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. We requested a quiet room and that's what we were assigned and we were very happy with it. The staff are super friendly and we thought the reception staff were incredibly helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and the decor is beautiful. We loved the spa which was squeeky clean and my husband said the gym was well equipped. We are looking forward to returning in better weather to enjoy the outside space. Thank you

The location and grounds were beautiful. The staff in the restaurant for our evening meal were very accommodating of my children allergies and staff in 1911 for breakfast were also very considerate and accommodating. Both made eating out with multiple allergies easy.

The location was fabulous, stunning house and grounds to walk around, the suite was clean and spacious. My husband and I had a restful sleep…we didn’t try the spa as we were too tired after a long day however it looked good! Parking is always important to us and as with everything thing else this was great too! Genuinely couldn’t recommend enough.

We enjoyed everything

The staff we encountered were all courteous and polite- the room was ok - there were cobwebs both in the room and in the bathroom - the radiator made gurgling noises all night causing quite a disturbed night. Access to the sauna and steam room very limited on Saturday which was very disappointing (which was all we had) due to a very large family party taking up most of beds and much of room in sauna and steam room for all of the time we were there so all in all it was not quite the stay we had hoped for. Thank you for finding us a room close to the spa.

Everything was excellent,

We had a wonderful stay. All the staff were excellent, professional, friendly and welcoming. Special mention for the team in Harry’s Bar and Restaurant. They were all excellent and the food was delicious!! We took our Jack Russell puppy with us and were a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews but from our experience this is a great hotel to take dogs. They’re welcome everywhere but the spa and all the staff made a fuss of him.

The spa facilities were empty and clean, the staff and other spa users we're friendly.

We had a lovely night stay at Horwood House. Room was great, the food and drinks at Harry’s Bar within the hotel was fantastic! The staff were also so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help! Would definitely recommend to anybody thinking of staying here.

Staff was extremely courteous. Food was amazing. The location is excellent. I am disappointed with the rooms though as the deluxe room did not have enough space and the toiletries weren’t good quality as well.

It was very clean! Staff were all lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. We also got upgraded which was an amazing surprise!
