Very corporate. Premier Inn and Travelodge do it better. We did complain about the quilt and it was replaced. Expect better quality bedding - lumpy pillows and duvets should not be allowed. Poor taste in bedroom art - who wants to wake up to bugs?

Stayed here before and took my parents to enjoy the hotel and spa too. We all had a lovely time and great food

Hotel is tired. Staff lovely. There isn’t much to do locally so you need to jump into the car for food options as there is only one restaurant open.

100% excellent stay. Great Shopping Centre next door including a range of restaurants. Skybar at the hotel beautiful with gorgeous views. Breakfast excellent. Fabulous stay, highly recommend.

The Horwood is in a lovely place ' with good air to breath' but bedroom has no Air conditioning and only provided fan. The only place with air conditioning is the Bar and the drinks are very expensive. It good for winter holidays but not summer for me and wife. If all room has air-conditioning ': then excellent

Okay hotel. Hotel was clean, staff friendly. Grounds very disappointing and lack of air con in suites was a real struggle in the heat.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff were exttremely helpful and kind. The grounds tk the hotel was absolutely stunning and staff really made this stay special for my wife's birthday. When we arrived they were kind in upgrading us. The food here was excellent, in particular the roast on Sunday. The spa was also excellent, it was very quiet most of the time and it has a great pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, all of which are included in the price of the room. We had an amazing stay and will come back. Thank you, everyone for a great stay.

The hotel itself was good but we had my van broken into as well as two other vehicles we had a expensive amount of equipment stolen to the value of £24000 so I won’t be staying there in the future

A great spar hotel with a large, comfortable bedroom, good restaurant and some excellent facilities. It is in lovely grounds and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here. It was ideal for my purposes - a visit to Waddesdon Manor.

Horwood House is a fantastic place to stay. The room was lovely, staff so helpful and attentive and the grounds are beautiful. We had dinner in Harry’s Bar and breakfast in 1911 restaurant and the food was wonderful in both. Would highly recommend.

Checked in without any issues. Had meal in restaurant first evening which was fairly good. Had a nice walk around the well maintained trained grounds. Loved the breakfast.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice bar/restaurant. Check in time was a little off (about 1 hour) which I think was a capacity issue. Spa was great, Sauna and Steam rooms were a little small to match the capacity of the hotel. I enjoyed my stay though apart from the capacity issue. If you’re staying there for the spa treatments, you should confirm availability before booking a room, they seem to have pretty limited slots which is disappointing for anyone planning to relax and complete escape from city buzz.

Best buffet breakfast by far. Goodnight sleep lovely bed. Staff friendly and attentive.

Great weekend at Horwood House Hotel. Facilities were very good , grounds were beautiful to wander in and staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend. Only downside - we booked a deluxe room but there was only 1 chair to sit in. We requested another one , but did not receive one.
