Overall everything was great. Staff were very helpful and polite, breakfast was great too, and the location of the hotel was walkable to most markets and nightlife. I would definitely go back and stay there again.

Breakfast was excellent! The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was large and comfortable, and, even though it faced the street, it was pretty quiet. The hotel itself was beautiful - classic Italian. The location was nice because it was just a 5 minute walk to the Teatro Massimo and a lot of the tourist attractions, but it wasn't in the middle of everything. A few minor observations; although the shower itself was fantastic, it was a bit leaky (aren't they all!), the tap in the bathroom sink was a bit wonky until I figured it out, and the mini-fridge didn't quite fit the (much appreciated) daily free bottle of water. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again! Oh, and the air-conditioning was excellent - perfect for the scorching heat of Palermo in July!

Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good. Only complaint is that there was significant street noise. Woke up to loud music blasting from cars a few times. Had very good air conditioning which was a relief since it was so hot and humid outside.

The hotel is in a great location and has a charming old-style character. The room and bathroom were both clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The breakfast, however, is very much geared towards foreign tourists and could be improved by offering more variety and local options. The air conditioning in the common areas is quite weak, although it works well in the rooms, making them comfortable even during hot weather.

What an excellent hotel. We arrived after a 4 hour drive in France, and a flight delay. Exhausted. But a friendly, caring lady at the reception made such a difference. She was perfect in every way - efficient, reaching out, informative and more. Made is feel comfortable in every way. The other hotel staff - concierge, room service, housekeeping - all above par! Recommended for all travelers.

Every thing was good until significant amount of money went missing from our safety deposit box. We locked ourselves out of the box twice in the same day which meant the hotel staff had to come and open it for us. The 2nd time the person pulled it open and saw we had money in there. Then in the next couple days when I counted we were missing money. I talked to the hotel manager and she said perhaps we dropped the money but we did not take that money out so that is not possible. Also she said if they open the safe, it clears the code but I researched that specific model and found out, they could open and close the box but keep the last code. At this point it did not see with my own eyes that they took the money but I am missing it. I would not stay there again or would not leave money in the safe.

Hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed for city break. Exceptionally clean, helpful and attentive staff, superb location. Overall all fantastic experience and I will definitely return.

Breakfast was excellent with particular credit to the chef for scrambled egg. Very seldom do hotels manage to bulk cook good scrambled eggs but this hotel was excellent. Excellent room, staff were engaging and polite .

The hotel is nice and the rooms have high ceilings, but it needs a complete refurbishment. No view at all. 2 small windows opening to small row of backyard. The staff were nice. The bed was good and comfortable, and the breakfast was acceptable.
