Needed a place to stay for one night and Staybridge seemed like one of the better value hotels in the area. It is located a short drive (10-15 min) outside of the Guelph core, but there's plenty of free parking here and it's easy to find. Staff working here were all very friendly. The nice gentleman at the front desk helped to sort out our multiple bookings, and we were even greeted with complimentary cookies. The rooms were really comfortable and spacious. I somehow ended up with a room that had a jacuzzi. Unfortunately we were here for work on a tight turnaround so I didn't really get an opportunity to fully enjoy it, but it was a nice surprise. Amenities are a little underwhelming - the gym is a bit small and the equipment is quite dated. Good airflow though. Swimming pool looked a bit small but probably good for families with kids. Ultimately would gladly stay here again if I was looking for a good value, comfortable stay.

Our stay at Staybridge Suites Guelph was a major highlight of our trip exploring the Niagara Escarpment. The hotel is incredibly convenient for visiting Elora and other nearby conservation areas. The staff is simply amazing; Theo at the front desk was very helpful with local information, and the dining team was exceptionally friendly.The breakfast is top-notch, and the complimentary evening meal was a wonderful, thoughtful touch. Guelph itself is a pleasant city to explore—the university campus is absolutely massive! Plus, the surrounding area has a fantastic food scene with so many great restaurants to discover.

My family had to stay here for 2 months after a small house fire. This was the best hotel I ever stayed at. The staff were the best, especially Theo at the front desk, and the two lovely women who worked the afternoon. They have dinner here Monday to Wednesday. It was the best coming home from work knowing I had a dinner ready to go on those days. The rest of the week we used the small kitchenette to prep our meals, and I frequently used the bbqs in the hotels back garden. My family and I are not picky eaters, so we always ate what they served on the days they provided dinner. They have cookies in the afternoon when you come home, so I remember eating a cookie and having a coffee in the lounge before I went up to my room. The 2 bedroom suite was amazing. Plenty of room for a family of 5. The pool was also awesome, along with the laundry facilities. We had 2 full bathrooms. I miss the daily breakfast: the waffles, sausages, omelettes, orange juice. It was literally one of the best times I ever had. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Thank you so much Devante for making us feel right at home it was very relaxing week for our fur babies. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. From the grounds keeper/maintenance, cleaning crews guest services to the staff who prepared the moring breakfast and evening mingles. You all did a great job. We will see you again.

Stayed here for a weekend with my family for a soccer tournament and had a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire hotel was spotless. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the location couldn’t be more convenient — everything you need, from coffee and restaurants to groceries and gas, is within 5 minutes. Bonus - Pet friendly! Definitely recommend!
