York hotel was nothing to write about. I couldn't stay, I was made go elsewhere to check in and paid extra, I was really disappointed, no toilet, no parking space etc. the Britanna Inn was better. Thou, I paid extra money.

Locks broken on room doors windows and bathrooms. Broken toilet seats blocked showers. The staff were helpful but no one maintains the property to a good standard

It was average room. washroom need more clean, there was no tissue, handwash. Bathroom floor was full of water. There no cattle or oven.. For resting is it ok..

It was ok however, the carpet and furnitures could be changed. The bed has no head board though the staff cleans up regularly. Bathroom door should have a private locks.

Shower was clogged and kept overflowing, so I had to stay dirty.

The picture is shown on the website is not exactly what you get. The pictures of misguiding. The rooms are smelly. The carpets are dirty. Everything is broken. The mattress is of poor quality. You’ll find dirt everywhere and the smell is so bad it gets claustrophobic. Please don’t be miscarried by the pictures.

Bedroom was really filthy and smelly, bathroom and toilet was disgusting couldn't use it, Management were rude also most importantly you have to pay £50 deposit without even mentioning anywhere including in the booking. When challenged, the owner did not want to understand or listen, its like he done me a favour by giving the key in advance and asks me to go and get fifty pound in cash, when in the website they mentioned they don't accept cash in the hotel poor management.

Bathroon/Toilet is shared. Filthy bathroom/Toilet. No housekeeping.Terrible. Outdated and broken furniture.Only positive is they allowed me to checkin after 8.00pm. Friendly reception. Breakkfast is £10 person ordred by Hotel from outside. No inhouse dining area

The drainer water in shower box was clogged, so the water is coming out all to the bathroom floor, flooding around it. The room has no even a clothes handler for. I could say more but I’ll stop here.

Don't waste your time booking this hotel. They send you to another hotel 20mins drive away

We were very disappointed to discover on check-in that the bathroom was shared — something that was not clearly stated in the listing. I was travelling with my wife, and sharing a bathroom with strangers was not acceptable to us. As a result, we had no choice but to leave immediately. We requested a refund due to the misleading information, but this was refused. If you're a couple looking for privacy and comfort, do yourself a favour and avoid this place — it is not suitable for couples, and the listing does not reflect the reality.
