We had a great stay good bus service to towns Nice quiet location close to other beaches The beds need to be upgraded as the twin was lumpy and the double was sunken Other than that the place was fantastic

I felt very safe at Akrotiri Hotel. The manager was very personable and helpful. He ensured we understood how to get around the area safely. We shared our itinerary and he advised us how to get to our destination safely and cost effectively. The staff who served breakfast was excellent. They were very pleasant and tried to meet our needs for changes. The environment was clean. We could feel the love and care at the hotel. The scenery was very beautiful. We would highly recommend this hotel for visitors who need a family setting.

Matthias, the owner was incredibly patient, kind, and accommodating. Was always going out of his way to make Our trip, outstanding and superb!! Nikki and Ronald were the kindest staff I’ve ever encountered. Would absolutely recommend it. The local cuisine just minutes away was decent and the views were outstanding.

I loved that we had a nice clean room. The big bath towels were a bonus too. The staff was very nice and friendly. The service was great! The views were amazing. I loved that breakfast was included and served as soon as we sat down. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent location and breakfast.

First of all when we arrived they gave us a room on the top and that was tiring because they don’t have a lift that I probably missed when I was booking. Secondly the room was so smelly that it was unbearable for us to get through the night. The only plus point was the view and sea side. Other than that it was outlying and there was nothing to do in the evening. That is the reason I had to book another hotel and left the next day

Can't find a better place to stay in Akrotiri town. Next door to Bus station, Archaelogical museum, beach and the best views. Great breakfast spread.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Hotel Akrotiri! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing - clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The property is gorgeous and the restaurant had great food. The breakfast was also incredible. A short walk up the hill will bring you to the bus stop which is easy to navigate, and you can also access Red Beach. The catamaran that we took to see the White Beach, Red Beach, and Black Beach was a two minute walk from the hotel. There are taverns to eat at within a short walking distance. Everything was outstanding and I can’t wait to come back!

Nice hotel away from the chaos of Fira and Oia. Clean, safe and good restaurants. Only issues is there is nothing around it, but there is bus service into town every 30 minutes

This property is very beautiful and I took a lot of pictures. The breakfast included is very rich. The location is very close to the Akrotiri archaeological site. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent family-run hotel with friendly staff. We arranged airport pick-up in advance by email and got an immediate confirmation response. The flight arrived in Santorini late but our pick-up was waiting, and we were later greeted personally by hotel staff member Zozef (reception desk was closed). He gave us valuable information about places to eat at that time of night and for the next day, things to do in the area and carried our bag to our room. The room was lovely - neat and clean and perfect for us (grandson and daughter).the view from the room when the door opened in the morning was amazing. Beds were comfortable (double and single in the triple room). We had deckchairs and a patio set for our use outside our room, as well as access to communal ones / hanging pods. Breakfast was good (portion sizes and options) and we ate on the terrace looking out at sea. The sun beds on the beach provided a relaxing, peaceful place to unwind. The restaurants were a few minutes walk away along the shore, as we’re the boats to take visitors to red / white / black beach (separate charge). The owner, Mathieus, and his family were friendly and accommodating and recommended the boat ride, as well as visiting Akrotiri ruins - useful as our time was short. The hotel has its own place to buy food / ice-cream / coffee etc. and this is open to hotel guests as well as members of the public I would recommend this hotel for a quiet getaway. Big thanks to all the staff!

Wow this family does a GREAT job. Breakfast was crazy good. They suggested a boat excursion (we paid 70 less than some other couple that set up online). The staff was beyond amazing! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Some might want to be where the action is on the island (Oia or Fira) but this was a great respite from the crush of people in the towns.
