Stayed for one night, room clean, but could do with a little updating. Had dinner at the restaurant they were doing a curry night and food was very nice and great portions. Our 5 year old had a kids meal which he thoroughly enjoyed. Had cooked breakfast in the morning also good and great host.

Lovely old style hotel, spacious clean room and comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful. Excellent food served and nice beer. Appeared to be populate place to eat. Car parking on site.

From a friendly check in, to an amazing pub dinner, we were meeting friends who live in Martock and they recommended White Hart, we had dinner in the pub and by far our fave meal of our entire trip in Uk, the dessert was even fantastic - do not remove that sticky toffee pudding - still dreaming on it, room was comfortable and did us for the night. Staff were fantastic and would come back again.

Check in is 5.30 thought I would arrive earlier and have a few drinks and something to eat only to find the place locked up. Nowhere in the village open so ended up driving to Yeovil

Really enjoyable stay, Peter the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful as were all the staff. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Food was delicious, would definitely stay here again.

Super friendly staff, comfy beds. I only stayed the 1 night, the hotel was full and i can put that down to the staff and great atmopshere.

The owners and staff made us feel like family. They were very welcoming and fun. Breakfast was delicious each morning. White Hart was filled with warm, a sense of community and felt like returning home each evening.

Very freindly staff. Excellent food. Clean room. Good price point. An excellent base to explore South Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire.

Average for one night - lovely staff - needs updating and more cheerful decor

We could not have had a better stay. The hosts are so kind and helpful. The food was great. The rooms are cozy. The baths have lots of hot water and great shower pressure. We also had a lovely walk around the village after dinner. We definitely recommend.

A friend and I had a great stay. The really friendly owners could not have been more helpful . The rooms were spotlessly clean and had tea and coffee making in the room which was great. Our dinner in the restaurant was delicious. And continental breakfast was very good value and good. This was exceptionally good value for the quality of stay.

Friendly & attentive service!

I have no complaints. The building is old but fits with its surroundings. Internally its age is obvious but there are no signs of poor maintenance. My room was simply furnished but contained all facilities which were in full working order. Other than breakfast (which was excellent with a never-ending supply of tea and coffee), I did not use the regular restaurant because I was at the hotel for a family funeral with the wake held in the bar area and the breakfast room. During my stay the staff appeared attentive to everyone's needs, making me feel welcome and generally "at home".

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Peter was an excellent host and the dinner and breakfasts were first class.

Very welcoming staff, room very clean and just the right size. Very friendly atmosphere within the pub.
