Basic room, clean, quiet.

Great hotel very near to the port in Milazzo. Spacious room with comfortable bed and small balcony. Breakfast is not overly extensive, but was perfectly fine. Friendly staff.

We booked a stay in the junior suite (with jacuzzi), planning to stay in Milazzo for only two nights. But we loved the easy access to a clean beach, the super comfy canopy bed, the well functioning AC, the pleasant staff and good breakfast mix of sweet and savory (tilting in typical Italian fashion to the sweet). On the second day, we realized just how relaxed we felt at this hotel, so we decided to stay an extra two nights! It was well worth it. I came back from Italy feeling totally relaxed and restored.

Consistent high standards from Giovanna from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff who were very good and also efficient. Every aspect of our stay was to the best of everyone’s ability. Anything we asked was professionally and dealt with and always a smile.

The bed did not have a blanket ! The heating was almost not existent ! The safe did not work! Pillows of very poor quality! Television came without instruction and was not working !

Cute boutique hotel very close to ferries. We visited Stromboli for the day. Free street parking in front of the hotel. Very helpful & delights English speaking staff, able to recommend local sites. Beautiful views of the sea. Recommend seeing the Milazzo Castle: large, partially restored containing art exhibit, venue for local theater. Would return, highly recommend!!

We had an unexpected overnight stay in Milazzo due to some rough seas, but we couldn't be happier to have stayed at La Chicca Palace. Giovanna was so kind, made some great booking for restaurants for us, and also makes a fantastic Aperol Spritz. Thank you so much for looking after us so well.

Dated hotel and dated rooms. Internet in room did not work Terrible breakfast served in hotel foyer. There was no hot water on the last morning of our stay.

The concierge gave us exceptional service, was very welcoming, suggested restaurants and made us feel very welcome. The bedroom and bathroom were quite nice and it was located very close to the ferry terminal. Would recommend!

Great hotel very near to the port where the ferry drops off/picks up. Lovely spacious room (junior suite) with jetted bathtub and four-poster bed. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely return in the future.

The staff- absolutely charming, helpful and polite. The rooms- a little jaded- in need of redecoration. The air-com......typically Italian, ie- unfit for purpose.....All in all- a well located little hotel with adequate facilities......saved from mediocrity by the staff.

Our stay got off to a rocky start. First, this four star hotel's parking was a .5 km away, and wasn't opened until we spoke with the reception @ another hotel. NOT ideal in rainy conditions. Second, the amenities on Hotel.com show Self-service laundry facilities in the hotel, which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel, as we had a lot of laundry to do. I don't know if this was the hotel's error or Hotel.com's error, but it was another unfortunate experience. The staff did try very hard to make it right. They found a laundry close by and called for the hours. The only problem there was those hours weren't really adhered to, so we ended up waiting an hour just to begin washing and vying for machines. As to the hotel room itself, we had wanted a little treat, so we booked a junior suite. The room was large, but not particularly luxurious. It did have a whirlpool that seemed to work well. Breakfast was fairly good, eggs to order, good coffee. Again, the staff did try very hard, but all in all, not the experience we had hoped for, nor what we have experienced in other 'four star' hotels.

We stayed at La Chicca before catching the ferry in Milazzo to Panarea. Giovanna and the staff were so helpful. Everyone spoke excellent English, which was really wonderful for two Americans who don't speak Italian. Giovanna gave us great recommendations for restaurants and sites to visit and even found us a driver to take us all the way from Milazzo to Palermo (a 2.5 hour ride) for a great price. When we returned from Panarea to Milazzo, we stayed at La Chicca again and it felt like coming home. The rooms are unique and very clean and the staff provides excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel, and when I return to Milazzo, I will always stay at La Chicca.

Very comfortable and clean. Staff was wonderful. Easy walk to ferry port for hydrofoil to Aeolian Islands.

Great location for the town and Ferry port

We had an initial problem with water dripping from the A/C vent in our room, but the owner had it fixed immediately the next day, and gave us a bottle of wine for our trouble. Very nice staff.

Great location near the ferry port. Very helpful staff who arranged ferry schedules and located specific shops and ATMs and suggested restaurants. Suggested options for shuttles to and from Catania airport.
