We had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms are impeccable, the spa, the pool and the general atmosphere is very relaxing and very welcoming! We liked the service, especially at the bar and the buffet style restaurant La Veranda.The only slight disappointment was the fact that we were not able in 5 days of our stay to book a dinner reservation at Les Fresques. The lady at reception was not helpful at all. Overall, we had a great time at this resort and this little inconvenience did not hinder our vacation. My recommendation for the hotel management would be to have more transparent communication with guests, providing them with suggestions for day trips, local attractions, more dining options and sightseeing.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. We booked a room with lake view and the view was stunning ! Staff were really friendly, spa installations are amazing and free when you booked the room. We had spa treatment and dinner at the Fresque which we recommend !

The view of the lake is amazing. The food was delicious and the staff was great. My wife and I really enjoyed our time at the hotel. It was about an hour away from Morzine but definitely great to come back to after a day on the slopes.

The hotel and hotel grounds are breathtaking. Quiet and serene with beautiful views from every window. Our check-in was easy and efficient. Many thanks to Laurent for his kindness and effort - especially thankful for the surprise tea set in our room when I mentioned I wasn't a coffee drinker! Hospitality at its finest. The gentleman who parked my car and brought it out when we left was very kind - I wish I got his name. Thank you to him! The room was spectacular - spacious, high quality amenities and comfortable. Evian spa available with sweet staff and indoor pool that kids can access at certain times. Outdoor infinity pool overlooking the lake. Breakfast was ok - plentiful but nothing interesting or "amazing". Dinner at the Veranda on site was ok - the kid's menu was plentiful (4 courses!) and my daughter found it delicious. Staff was lovely with her, too (thank you!). My dish of the ravioli was ok - did not love it. Pumpkin soup with chestnuts was good but slightly bland - had so much potential! Worst part about dinner was being asked by the gentleman at the host stand if we paid the check on our way out - that was so rude and demeaning, especially as hotel guests. We did pay, which I informed him, and he just said ok - no apology to us. He was also the same gentleman who, when arriving at the restaurant for our reservation initially, showed us a table in the far back corner away from everyone else. He may need some training. Loved the property overall would rec!

Beautiful place with exceptional service. We spend a few nights with our toddler at the Hotel Royal and really enjoyed the room, facilities and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and super clean. Outside well maintained grounds meet an exceptional view of the lake. The restaurant offers good food and the heated outdoor pool offers a beautiful view. Attention to detail makes the difference. We received a small bathroom and mini slippers for our 2.5 year old and continuously experienced exceptional service by all the staff. The playground close to the sports courts is great for smaller ones. We didn’t try the nursery, but meeting parents and staff would have been happy to use them. One the best stays in many years of travel that we highly recommend if your budget allows.

We had a great time at the Royal in Evian. Very positive were the friendly staff, who gave a nice tour of the property. The spa is wonderful. Excellent pool, hammam and sauna (outside massage jets) with long hours 7-24. Good free navette to the Casino. Only negative - the room (park view) only had a shower, no bathtub. When you go to a 5 star hotel you expect to get a bathtub, at least at the reception they could have asked, since it is off season the hotel was almost empty, and I would hope they have some rooms with bathtubs.

It was pleasant stay in fabulous resort. The spa facilities were great. The restaurant had nice selections.

Great stay if a little overpriced

Dear .. I would like really to deliver this review the management of the royal hotel in evian ..It was terribly experience in the hotel at the beginning the hotel didn't get me the same reservation category room aservice I booked it and the front manager Mr.Thomas was unprofessional handle the case and did nothing more to get me the rooms . Throughout the whole stay the staff was terribly not friendly and not politely at all as one of Tehran staff who named Gillias an olld man with white hair was shouting at me all the time because I was review my invoice the concierge staff was absolutely not aware of how to deal with a tourist .. and not respectable at all I was shocked how was this hotel is employed people who were so racist I really reget staying as such hotel I hope this review to get to the higher management of the hotel because it was a shame! Regards
