Very clean hotel! Staff constantly cleaning and was spotless All staff very friendly and helpful Some areas could do with a bit of modernisation like the bar and reception area. Would be useful for lunch orders at the bar to start before 1.30pm Very popular for cyclists Sunloungers could also do with an upgrade and they need to do something when the parasol metal poles are sticking out of the ground with no parasol in it as it is a trip hazard.

The room was clean, tidy and spacious. Extra pillows were available in the room as well as towels to use around the pool. The balcony is surprisingly large and the view was just as good as the pictures showed (I had a sea view looking out over the bay.

We were able to check in straight away when we arrived early

Rooms are not soundproof you can hear people talking and water flush next room didn’t get any sleep I will not recommend it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great rooms, very comfortable and clean. Brilliant location, so close to the beach and the view from our balconies was fab. The outdoor pools were closed (being November, understandable!) but we used the indoor pool. It's small but good. The breakfast buffet was good value and enjoyable.

Fantastic quite stay at the end of the season.

Enjoyed my room with side sea view. Spotless room. Went for half board and dinner options were super. Very efficient service in the dining room. Generally the hotel was very quiet except when music night in the bar& your room is directly above it!

Really enjoyed our stay here, could have stayed much longer if time permitted. Cleanliness, location and helpful staff mad our stay fabulous.

The air conditioning wasn’t working and then the water stopped working. It was noisy outside the hotel all night long. Had to sleep with AirPods in.

It’s the small stuff that matters sometimes. Toilet paper was super thin and rough. Didn’t get any water bottles nightly, only upon check in. We had to buy our own. No tv channels worked. A big reason we booked the hotel because they offered parking. Upon arriving they said it was full but the parking lot was half empty. We had to find parking on the street nightly because it parking lot was “full”. To top things off the morning of check out there was no water. I had to go to reception to ask for bottles of water to brush our teeth.

Clean room. There was a lot of noise in the piping. The hotel solid for the price.

Yes, view was fantastic but never used the spa.

The staff are wonderful, welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed my stay here although I wouldn't recommend using the steam sauna. It's outdated, has a moldy smell and the paint is peeling. The tiled area in the sauna area could use a refresh. Other than that the rooms were clean, updated and the beds were comfortable.

The El cid hotel is an excellent hotel, we have stayed twice now and have enjoyed the hotel.and facilities each time.The location to the beautiful beach and lots of restaurants and shops is second to none! The hotel rooms and facilities are in my opinion superb, the food is fantastic with lots of variety..I would highly recommend this hotel in the Playa de Palma area, also.only 10 mins drive to the airport, so.tranfers are minimal. Palma is a short 20 min drive away with all the things a lovely city has to offer!! Dont hesitate, , give this hotel serious consideration when looking, you will be glad you did.😎🏝🌞👌

Location was great and staff were fine. 2 stars because we stayed for 2days with a very weak to none existent WiFi in the room. The A/C control unit must be for show because the room stayed warm, never at all got cold or at least cooled down. Overall OK but I wouldn’t stay here again.
