We stayed in February 2026. The website clearly says rooms have conditioning. While that may be true, the deactivate the air conditioners in the winter months and there is no way to cool your room down other than opening the window. The problem with this is that our room faced into a ground-level courtyard where other guests could easily access and climb in which felt unsafe. When it rained, the water collected and dripped off a metal roof which made really loud sounds. So the only choice for our stay was to be too hot but quiet at night, or cooled down but sleeping unsafe with the window open where anybody could come in at night. Moreover, the fridge was a hassle because it was connected to the lightswitch..so everytime you left the room the fridge would go off. Pillows were so flat and hard...worst pillows I have seen in my entire life. Would not stay here again unfortunately.

Nice old hotel in central Venice. Lots of character. Restaurant next door was worth a visit too...

Well located. Walls not that soundproofed, but it's an old building. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'm not a huge fan of dropping the key off/picking up at reception as you come and go. I came back at 1am from a wedding and had to ring/knock for 5 mins. Not a long time to wait but the first 4 mins when i didnt know what was going to happen felt a lot longer :) I would stay again as good price for what you get.

Good Overall

When entering the hotel, it seems you may have been mislead. Small foyer, stairs to first floor elevator, small breakfast room and reception. Once entering the rooms however - beautiful. Have room with canal view - wonderful. Small dock to access by water taxi, Close to St Marks square and other sights. Very helpful front desk staff.

The room was small but very pretty and old fashioned looking. Right in the heart of Venice. Friendly and helpful staff. My flight got cancelled at the last minute and they easily added an extra night.

The personal was very kind and welcomming, the hotel is beautiful and well situated. The breakfast is good, but not the coffee. One day he was too light and taste nothing, the other this he was le goudron. One thing is little bit weird, you need to give your key at the counter when you go out, to prevent you from being steel in you room in case someone steal your key on the street. Witch is not a bad idea, unless when you came back and nobody ask you id's to get your key back.

The room was not as advertised, exceptionally small and run down. Not very clean and overall very grubby. Extremely dissapointed with the hotel. However, staff were helpful and polite.

Clean and well presented family room. Breakfast friendly with good selection. Excellent central location, but a quiet street. Lots of restaurants nearby

The Hotel was lovely altho it was terrible to find but once there the hotel staff were great our adaptors wouldn't work in the room the man on reception brought some up which was a great help the hotel is very venetian the bathroom is lovely we had an excursion booked which meant we had to leave very early so would miss breakfast but the man on reception said its OK wel make you a breakfast bag up to take the breakfast we had there was nice lots of choice staff on reception are very helpful they couldn't do enough for us I would definitely stay here again we ate in the hotel next door on the left it was ok we also tried the restaurant on the right just around the corner that was beautiful I would definitely recommend the restaurant on the right we ate twice there and both times was fabulous one thing to be extremely cautious is the public water taxi stop in Mestre near the bus station we had two lots of 3 in a group pick pockets it was extremely frightening to have 3 large men trying to take our belongings we had this on 2seperate occasions there so be very very vigilant

Great location for easy walking to The Grand Canal and St Marks Square. Staff were really nice, check in was easy and we’d arrived early so left our bags so we could go off and explore. When we came back a few hours later our bags had been taken to our room. Our room was compact but lovely with beautiful furniture and the bed so comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here and get a private water taxi in from the airport!

Centrally located and easy to find. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean

This is a very unique property. Our room had an upstairs loft. The decorations, furniture, etc were beautiful. Room was clean and comfortable. Our canal view was a tiny pocket view with a bridge filled with trash (obviously they have no control over the trash). Breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy. One quirk we did not like was that we had to leave our hotel key with the front desk every time we left the hotel. They did not check ID when we requested the key back and it was a different person than we left the key with, so essentially anyone could have had access to our room. Also, the gentleman who checked us in told us that we didn't have enough time to do or see anything since we were only there for less than 24 hrs. Which was weird since we were able to do a Gondola and a tour to the other islands. Overall it was a good stay.
