Third time staying at this hotel and hoping for many more stays!

This is a beautifully furnished, elegant hotel in the centre of Cheltenham. It’s in a quiet part of the town and with easy walking to Montpellier. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated with high quality tea, coffee-making machines. A fridge with a bottle of water is a thoughtful addition, the toiletries are Occitane, and the towel are of good quality cotton. The room had air conditioning which was essential during a heat wave. There is parking but it is charged per night. There is a lovely bar and a nice restaurant (French themed) as well as an external courtyard; these provide various options for food and drink. The receptionists are friendly and helpful.

The lady at reception was superb, and all the staff in the bar and restaurant were excellent. The room was perfect. I would not hesitate to book again when in Cheltenham for business.

Very clean room, lovely staff. Excellent breakfast and service. The room was well designed and had everything we needed. Loved the treat bag bed and bowl for our dog. She was a very happy girl. Plus despite a wedding celebration our room was very quiet all night. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay and would happily return. The hotel was clean, well-maintained and had a lovely atmosphere throughout. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, making us feel looked after from check-in to check-out. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the facilities were excellent. Breakfast offered a great selection, and everything was fresh and well presented. Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay and excellent value for money. Thank you to everyone who made our visit so pleasant!

Great location. Amazing breakfast.

Room was nice and comfortable but not spotless. Velvet sofa was stained and coffee corner was dusty. We thought we were getting 2 bathtubs in the room according to photos but there was only one in the bathroom. Either the fridge or the A/C were quite noisy and sounded like there was a fish tank in the room. Amenities were good and breakfast was nice but overpriced.

We stayed in one of the hotels premier suites. It was too big! The decor and design were dated and the lighting and airconditioning problematic. The huge bed had sheets that weren't fitted and the bedspread wasn't very clean and had hairs and dust in evidence. The shower was brilliant and it had 2 baths in the room The door lock jammed when we returned for our second nights stay and the staff took 20 minutes to let us in, but were excellent in giving us free drinks while we waited in the bar. Parking at the hotel is minimal and we paid for 2 days in advance at £10 per day. On the second day there was no room in the hotel car park, due to a wedding at the hotel. They refunded the second days parking charge. Overall not a stay we will repeat.

Great hotel with great service.

Booked the cheapest room as we were there for only one night to see friends for dinner. Requested a room with walk in shower (not over bath) as we are in our 80s. When we arrived we were told we’d been upgraded as a result to a deluxe which had a walk in shower and a big soaking tub. Bliss.
