Lovely place staff friendly and knowledgeable as a fully working pub choices of beers/ipas second to non along with ciders…. Property in process of new owners & upgrading of rooms and decor …. Location wise bang centre of the town… looking at the cathedral from the front door …. Great trip looking forward to going back

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Shower cubicle could do with a good tidy up, especially removal of mould.

A pleasant overnight stay in a warm and friendly Pub. The room was of a good size and clean. The staff were helpful and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar on returning from an evening out. Good breakfast and would definitely stay again.

Helpful, friendly, polite staff. Well stocked room- tea, milk, water and biscuits. Comfy bed in a specious room. Didn't like thelack of overhead shower in bath!. Parking nearby.

Staff member checking in was excellent and even showed to room, but my there it went downhill. The room was well appointed, but dividing was to larger rooms next my room was like paper (questionable if any sound proofing and being in historic building does not stop this). Also the guest the next room were very anti-socail playing TV very loud and makes lots of unnecessary noise. The hotel has no reception and very difficult to get help, in very wild and lively pub. They were not interested even when pub closed in the morning to be told of issue. It was nice to have rooms of of a courtyard and door out on to veranda/walkway.

well located pub with stocked cask ales good breakfast could do with extra sockets in the room. Rooms were very far from each other up lots of stairs one in main building other outside upstairs in courtyard

Room was perfect, spacious and warm. It’s an old building so it had little steps to watch out for. So much variety for breakfast - cooked to order hot food, pastries, yoghurts etc. Some evenings it was a bit noisy outside but not for long and it is an Inn / pub. Parked 4pm-10am for free outside the cathedral. Highly recommend staying here.

Great staff

The White Hart is a stunning Grade 1 listed building with beautiful cozy decor. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and they had a fantastic food & range of beers & ciders (locally sourced)! It is conveniently located very close to Wells market, the cathedral and Bishops Palace. We would 100% recommend The White Hart to anyone who wishes to visit Wells

The Inn is located in the heart of Wells, a stone's throw from the Cathedral and Bishop's Palace.Being a very old town centre Inn there is no customer parking, but the nearest car park is around ten minutes walk away and we parked there safely for two nights
