Awesome location! Staff was super friendly and helpful with tips and suggestions. Older building but with character and history. Definitely would stay again.

Historic hotel so take a look at all of the photos on the wall. Great Location! Firm beds. Great shower too. Bring ear plugs. The church bells go off every 15 minutes or so up until midnight. Street parking. Free after 6pm until 10am… then you need to feed the meter or app. Walking distance to Deck of Cards homes and church but I would drive up Spy Hill and go to magic place garden (corner of Spy Hill and deck of cards street). Pay 2 euros in the post box.

The room was lovely, the view amazing, nice and quiet with a fabulous view. Bed was very comfortable, I know it’s an old hotel but there’s a severe shortage of sockets in the room, particularly near the bed. I’ve had better breakfasts. No cereal available or fresh fruit, no pastries, cold meats or cheeses that I’ve come to expect in 4 star hotels, you’re handed a menu with prices of each item on it leaving you confused as to what you can and can’t have, no one explained this. There’s a severe lack of public space, 5 bar stools at the bar, mostly used by people waiting for their tables so there’s nowhere to go if you just want to have a drink. We had to ask one day for our room to be serviced, we’d been out and come back around 2.30 and the room hadn’t been serviced, when I asked what time the rooms are serviced I was told they service the ones where guests have departed first.

Poorly maintained room. Check in was made awkward by 2 receptionists talking over each other and complicating things. Food in the restaurant was good, both breakfast and dinner. Needs a bit of a revamp.

Perfectly located, good hotel

The hotel staff were extremely friendly. Hotel has character and charm and situation is good, directly near the Titanic Experience and the Heritage Centre, Both of which deserve a visit. Room was spacious with simple furnishings and lovely outlook on top floor.

Great location on the seafront, large, spacious room, very clean throughout, decent bar and restaurant.

Reception Staff are just amazing, so friendly , polite and helpful. Great restaurant and lovely breakfast. My room was small out the back which was OK just for two nights, clean with a nice bathroom

The location of the hotel is excellent and check-in with our Expedia reservation was quick and easy! The Commodore Hotel sits on the main street in Cobh, near where the cruise ships dock, and near the Titanic Museum and tourist information center. We stayed for four nights to be close to family on the island. We were able to find and use on-street parking for our rental car since we were gone most of the daytime hours. The bathroom had been recently refurbished and was the shower had easy-to-see directions for the hot/cold shower faucets. There were two bottles of waters, two muffins, and tea/coffee provided in our room daily. We came back to the hotel each day with the room having been freshened up, waters replaced, and bathroom toiletries replenished too. Our room had a large cabinet for hanging clothes, queen bed & twin bed, desk, bathroom, and small sitting area with 2 chairs and a table. There were only two of us, but had there been three, it would have been quite a large and comfortable space. The television had plenty of stations to use if we wanted to watch it. The only reason I'm giving a 4-star (instead of 5-stars) review is because the hotel is still undergoing renovations and the decor throughout the rooms and hallways is somewhat dated. There are various colors of wallpapers, carpeting, etc. Overall, I would recommend this hotel based on its location, price, and cleanliness!

Great location! Very helpful and courteous staff. Check in and out was very easy. Breakfast was very good. Very nice experience.

Room was nice and clean and very friendly staff. However I would recommend ear buds for night time as walls are very thin.

The charm of the Commodore Hotel really made our stay. The scenic location just added to our stay. The meals we had were reasonable and delicious. Walking the shops made for an enjoyable stop on our journey.
