The staff are really friendly, on hand for all your needs. We were here on bed & breakfast, and found out they did free cake and coffee at 3pm which was a nice treat. Room and pool area was really clean. Beautiful views of the lake and really close to the restaurants. Looking forward to going back!!

This hotel is in an excellent location with the lake and the facilities of Garda town. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The choice of food each evening was excellent and the food was delicious. We would definitely stay there again if we returned to Lake Garda.

What a lovely hotel to stay in, we were really lucky to have side lake view rooms which had great views! The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are very helpful. The pool and area around are perfect! Bike hire for 5 euros was great and a ride to Bardolino is a must! Afternoon tea at 4 every day is a great added extra! We didn’t want to leave!

Close to the town, it was extremely clean, great food and the staff were lovely.

Very nice and very clean. Parking can be a real problem. The property is up a very steep hill, and walking up it can be a challenge. On our second night, we parked up at the top of the hill, by the entrance. Navigating that part of the hill was even worse!

This hotel is fabulous on all levels. The room was immaculate with an amazing lake view. The balcony was huge with sunbeds as well as table and chairs. The room was equipped with my favourite extras such as bathrobe and slippers, complimentary water, magnifying light-up makeup mirror and a range of toiletries. All staff are outstandingly friendly and helpful and everything seems to run like clockwork. The food is excellent; we were half board and could not fault any of the meals. The dining room is cosy and comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. There was also the added bonus of complimentary tea and snacks every afternoon which were delicious. The hotel is ideally situated, just a 5 minute walk to the ferry stop and a 10 minute walk to the bus station. The only negative comment I could make is that the steep steps leading up from the road to the hotel are not very well lit at night, so could be dangerous for people with mobility issues. I would not hesitate to stay here again if we go back to Garda and would recommend this hotel to everyone, it is amazing.

We spent 4 days at the Excelsior and it was perfect. The staff are very accommodating, the breakfast was amazing and the bed was really comfy. I only wished there were an iron available and that’s the only negative I have. The room with the terrace has views that don’t disappoint even on a rainy day.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay as it is Eliana , Carlotta and staff that make me welcome and feel like family. If I could give 10 stars as exceptional service from the staff . Miss Joycie New York

Excellent location short walk to all amenities. Rooms spacious and clean, but would advise superior rooms on second or third floor. Staff very helpful. Bit of a steep climb to reception from entrance. Would definitely stay here again

Great views from the balcony of the lake and extremely helpful staff

The hotel was the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The staff was superb. The food outstanding.

Hotel was amazing; the breakfast and facilities were good. However, most of the staff members were cold towards us making us feel unwelcome possibly due to us being younger. Additionally other guests kept staring at us adding to us feeling unwelcome. Therefore I recommend if over the age of 21 or as a family.

The hotel was excellent, staff , facilities and location make this a wonderful place to stay . But our disappointment in the service from Expedia is hard to express , dreadful .. Totally impossible to get hold of them and when our flight was cancelled we could not talk or email them .
