The owner Phil welcomed us on the first day. He was totally amazing. The lodge was lovely. We were originally booked into Willow but had to change to Briar as there was a flood in Willow before we arrived. Dee Dee ensured we still had use of the hot tub which was lovely. The swimming pool is very large and you can book alone time in there which is nice. Excellent breakfast . Love the lodges in forest setting. So lovely. Nice fixtures and fittings. Excellent walk in shower. TV with three channels. Fridge in room and tea and coffee facilities. Highly recommend. Will definitely return. Lovely atmosphere and excellent care.

Really enjoyed my stay at Felbrigg Lodge. Such a peaceful hotel and full of character. Took full advantage of the pool & hot tub which can be booked out for an hour each day. Had a great walk around the Felbrigg estate and lake. Great hosts who were always on hand for anything needed, hope to be back!

This was our first visit to felbrigg lodge, but it certainly will not be our last. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a very comfortable lodge. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you

Beautiful location in the trees, peaceful and secluded retreat. We felt truly spoilt with this place. They are very dog friendly with plenty of areas to stretch your legs. We stayed in Willow which was immaculate and extremely comfortable. It had a hot tub which we didnt use due to the weather, but a lovely option. Heated indoor swimming pool was wonderful, it has an open session in the afternoon, but can be booked for a private session. I went during the open session and was the only one there anyway :) Breakfast was delicious with lots of options and plentiful, you will not go hungry. Excellent service, the staff were lovely throughout.

Room was lovely and spacious with a modern en suite. Breakfast had plenty of choice. Pool was a good size and clean but changing facilities were ok but in need of some updating. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Hotel in a beautiful and isolated area.

Comfortable overnight stay with breakfast. We loved the separate lodges, stayed in Briar which was spacious with a large bathroom. Breakfast, dinner, swimming pool all need to be prebooked. Booking a pool slot meant we had it to ourselves which was perfect. Breakfast was plentiful, well cooked and served by a very cheery and polite lady. Bed was comfy and room was clean apart from the odd cobweb, but as it's situated in a wood we were expecting spiders etc. Wifi patchy, but again, to be expected. We had a lovely stay and i imagine it's very pretty in the summer.

We enjoyed our stay at this property and found a staff friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and comfortable, although some of the furnishings had seen better days. The use of the swimming pool was a highlight, but we were disappointed to find that breakfast was not included in our rate, which was not clear on the Expedia website.

Spent a couple of days here and it was great. Friendly staff, lovely food, fantastic room and amenities. We had the afternoon tea when we were there and it didn't disappoint, mixture of sandwiches and amazing homemade pastries. We had the tea in the conservatory about 5pm and the wildlife you can see whilst enjoying the delicious food was great. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Loved the size of the lodge and having its own hot tub. It was well decorated and very comfortable with wifi and sky. Only downside, evening meal was expensive and lamb tagine was just lamb in a spicy gravy and plain cous cous
