Upon arriving there was no parking and no direction where to go. We had to park at a grocery store. The staff told us to park down the street in a parking garage where we had to haul all of our luggage from the garage back to the hotel without assistance or without a luggage cart. We only booked this hotel because it had parking but there was no mention of it being off site. We were told the next day that it was actually paid parking too. The room itself was super noisy. We could hear traffic, sirens, street cars etc and the loud people in the hallway. We could hear every door slam and every early morning argument. The room was small with limited space for your belongings especially coats. Only a small pipe hanging from the ceiling to hang coats. There was a sink in the bedroom and not in the bathroom. Very inconvenient when one person stays up late etc. The paint is peeling off the bathroom door and wall. The building itself doesnt have wheelchair access or a wheelchair button to open exterior doors making it hard to get in and out of the building with luggage. They allow smoking directly in front of the doors which is super gross. Its 2026! For the price we paid we expected more.

The parking was far and I didn’t get any directions from front desk on how to get back to the hotel, the pedestrian way. I got in at 10:30, very wired after a 6 hour drive. There was no service for a glass of wine in the entire hotel, no mini bar either. The room was very noisy and the bathroom floor was dirty. Thank God for the art collection and good design!

We just spent a night at the Gladstone hotel and had a wonderful time. The room was trendy and spacious. The bed was comfy. I loved that they have a white noise machine in the room and coffee in the lobby. You can sign into Netflix on the TV as well. I would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend.

Super funky hotel - a little bit of road noise at night but overall loved the neighborhood and feel!

The property is beautiful. Although, upon arrival we were told that the elevator was out of order, and our room was up 4 *huge* flights of stairs which felt like stairmaster 10,000. We literally had to take breaks between flights. Around 11:30pm, we tried to buzz reception to ask for some plates and cutlery to be brought up to the room. We called 5 times, no answer. So we took the stairs, and the front desk employee was sitting on the lobby couch watching videos on his phone. He apologized and offered to bring them up, which there was no point because we had to walk back up the 4 flights of stairs anyway so we may as well bring the plates and cutlery with us. Fast forward to the next morning, when we hear elevator *dings*, and realize there is a hidden service elevator that the staff has been using the whole time. Why wouldn’t they offer their guests to ride in the service elevator up with all of our luggage at least? I’m not even exaggerating when I say how huge these flights of stairs were. It was really inconvenient, and I would expect better service from a *luxurious* hotel that we are paying a premium for. The service was disappointing and felt like the employees were checked out and couldn’t care less to be there.

This was our second time staying at the Gladstone House, and we love it here. Its super close to many great restaurants and many forms of entertainment. The property is beautiful and historical and the rooms are beautifully designed. Its always clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable and the staff is always helpful. Check in is super easy. Would recommend staying here.

Always fun to stay at the Gladstone. Rooms and staff are usually lovely. Not quiet due to busy Queen street, so if noise disturbs make sure you bring ear plugs :) Breakfast was great and serving staff super friendly, food great.
