My partner and I arrived earlier than anticipated, and while we were not able to check in early, the staff at Gladstone happily took our bags and stored them so we could enjoy ourselves without being encumbered by our baggage. They have a lovely little bar, including an outdoor patio which was absolutely gorgeous, and the prices were exceptionally reasonable. All of the staff, from the front counter, to the servers, to the elevator operator, were very polite, professional, and personable and certainly made our stay more enjoyable.
Once we checked in, we were taken to our room and it was lovely. Clean, bright, and had (almost) everything we needed. The only thing missing was a small fridge in the room but that was my oversight when booking and I certainly wouldn't criticize Gladstone for it. A remote blind was very handy when we got back from our event and were too exhausted to get out of bed to close it manually. I loved how each floor has a unique setting in the common area, our floor had a functional pool table. So fun!
A lovely, boutique hotel, within reasonable walking distance to RBC Amphitheatre, the waterfront, and so many other venues. We will be back and I cannot recommend Gladstone enough!
