Friendly staff, clean rooms, amazing location! We also enjoyed the huge sauna, steam room, and pool-sized jacuzzi.

What was so nice about this property were the front desk people. They were kind and helpful. We had trouble with parking and the staff was exceptional in their help. The breakfast buffet was great. The location is in a busy square. Walking to restaurants was easy and accessible.

Hotel is very nice but our room was teeny — hard to even turn around in the bathroom and impossible to share with another person. And we even had a long-standing reservation so it’s not as if we were last minute. Very disappointing.

Vincenzo and the other front desk staff as well as the restaurant staff, were excellent! We had a wonderful time in Bolzano and the Stadt hotel Citta made it a memorable stay. We enjoyed having cocktails every evening on the square. We would highly recommend this hotel!

The team at this hotel we the epitome of professionalism and took pride in the service they provided. Vincenzo met us at check in and was phenomenal. All staff were excellent, hotel was excellent and location is excellent. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in the heart of old town Bolzano.

Beautiful room with a view overlooking the piazza! The staff were wonderful, spoke English and were able to support us with booking a taxi and helping us with our service animal. Highly recommend this hotel and their stellar team!

Terrific. Great location, lovely room, friendly staff. Caveat emptor, though - if you book through Expedia the spa costs extra. It does actually say on the booking page, but it's kind of hidden in the small print. You might think it's a better idea to book through the hotel's own website. I couldn't possibly comment on that.

We stayed here for 1 night in room.426. The hotel is in a great location. The room was tiny and impossible to maneuver with no.place to put anything. Very nice bed but it was the whole room. Also dont eat breakfast outside bc the garbage trucks arrive and the tables are in the alley where.they do the garbage. Beautiful decor throughout

We had a noise on our air conditioner,told staff. They said the fixed but the second night it made the same noise. Not good sleep.

Of the five hotels my wife and I stayed in on our trip to Milan, Varenna, Padua, Venice and the Dolomites, Stadt Hotel Città in Bolzano was the most luxurious. For a few extra euros, we upgraded to a spacious room with a balcony overlooking picturesque Walther Piazza and the city’s Duomo. The hotel also had seating on the piazza for meals, snacks, drinks, and gelato. The breakfast buffet was the fanciest and most complete breakfast that we’ve had included with our room. And the complimentary apple strudel was perfect for a mid-day snack or a late-nite bite. The weekend clerk who checked us in gave us several tips for our visit, plus complimentary drinks for my wife’s birthday. The city is car- and bike-free, which made strolling so enjoyable. And the parking beneath the hotel was convenient and worth the charge.

The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated and the floor in our suite squeaks something horrible.

For a 25 euro upgrade per night, we got a larger room with doors that opened to a gorgeous view of the City Center square. The room was spacious and fashionable. Our room rate included the best complimentary buffet breakfast we’ve ever had. And the complimentary apple strudel in the lobby around the clock was a nice touch. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, including outdoor seating bordering the square. For my wife’s birthday, we each received a free drink. Excellent location for exploring Bolzano.
