This hotel was quite nice. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. It's in a great location..quiet, close to the train station, close to restaurants and not far from the city centre. I would definitely stay here again.

proximity is why we chose the location, that and a queen size bed. nothing but stairs from the front door to the cramped check in counter area (good Luck with large bags or a lot of luggage) our room was next to the check in and the walls were so thin we could hear the guys TV and people checking in and out at all times of the day/night, heck we could even hear desk phone conversations. Found hair in the sheets and the owner/manager was upset when we asked him to change them. value did not match the price!

The hotel was chosen for its covenient location close to the tram stop and the main city area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel and room clean. Air conditioning worked well. Close to a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions.

Id recommend this hotel for a "no frills" stay. The hotel was in a good position, close to the centre but far enough out to avoid crowds, and a good price. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, if a little basic, but it had a comfortable bed, and a great shower. The walls were thin so we could hear our neighbours, but it was not so noisy to disturb. There was also no lift. This was not a problem for us, but guests with mobility problems may struggle. Overall it suited our needs perfectly and Id stay there again.

Two issues lost them all the points. First they stuck me in the basement next to the breakfast room. Noisy early in the morning. The real problem was on my last night. At 1am (for an hour), 3am and 330am, their staff screwed around in the area. Slammed doors too. Even after I yelled out. Maybe it was multiple people? So i never really got a good nights sleep the entite stay. Maid was good. Though i didnt want it. Hot water ok. Heat didnt work for a bit. Curtains were to thin. Pillows too. Dont accept that basement room if you stay here.

Located in a great part of Florence. Close walk to the train station with plenty of restaurants around.

Overall this ended up being a nice place to stay. We certainly appreciated the location. It was conveniently located near both the airport tram and many attractions. We walked everywhere from the hotel without any issues. We had some language difficulty with some of the desk staff. We were put into the wrong room the first night (I had prepaid for a triple room and they put me in a double). Luckily our 3rd person didn’t arrive until the next day and they were able to move us to the triple room. The desk staff is available 24 hours, but sometimes that means the desk clerk is sleeping on the couch in the lobby or you need to wake someone from the room upstairs. We had some minor issues with the shower – one of the showers backed up and the doors around the shower where a bit easy to knock off the track, but the water was hot. Overall, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean and we enjoyed the location.

Was exactly what we expected and wanted! Loved the 24 hour desk! Would stay again!

the receptionist informed us immediately that our reservation is no longer valid (we paid for it in advance) and that instead he sends us to sleep in an apartment near the hotel. We do not know why he did not let us sleep in the room booked by us in advance. to arrive at the hotel after a rainy day and to have announced that the room is no longer valid for you, it is not really what a tourist wants.

Fair cost/benefit, close to the Bus/ Train station and supermarkets. the only down for me on this property was the thin walls, you can listen and can be listen for all Florence!

The property has a decent location. It has lots of steps up so those who have difficulty navigating steps will find it hard. The bathroom and the room was small but that was what we expected. A reasonable price for the room.

Bathroom was very clean. Shower was large and seemed to be newly renovated. The walls in this hotel are paper thin so you hear the rooms above and next to you and people walking through the halls. There is more noise coming from the inside than the outside. Made it annoying sometimes. The night concierge smoked all night and the hallways smelled of smoke which was gross. But everyone smokes in Italy I guess. Room was clean and a decent size but the mattress aggravated my back injury. I’ve slept on better camping sleeping bags. Beware of this hotel if you have a sensitive back! Location was great. Made walking and travelling through the city very easy.

Good service. No lift. Owner helped to move luggages to room at back garden. Hotel reception is 1 floor above ground.Very close to Florence S.M. train station. 5 min walk. Easy to find. Got a super good & affordable Italian restaurant at corner of street, went for 3 dinners when I was in Florence for 3 days. Had best Italian spaghetti, risotto & steak in Italy, compared to Naples, Rome & Venice.

Great hotel - everything needed, very close to train and bus stations and easy to get to sights. Room and bed were comfortable and never had issue with shared bathroom (think I might have even been only one using it).

We have been to many countries including the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, France, Italy, and Spain. So we have lots of experiences with different hotels. I cannot help but say that this hotel is the best one we have ever stayed. We came in very late (after 9:30 pm), but the hotel had someone (in fact, Mr. Bl Gaby, a wonderful and very nice guy to receive us) to check us in. The room was clean and the hotel was very quiet. The breakfast was also good. The hotel is within a walking distance to most of the attractions. However, it is highly affordable. Therefore, I highly recommended to anyone with no reservation.

The hotel is in a great location and well kept, the staff are very friendly and helpful..... But.....Housekeeping left my room unlocked MULTIPLE. This was not just while cleaning, but I would return to my room to find it unlocked and on one occasion the keys still left in the door.
