As a solo traveler the room was perfect. The area is great, very close to Notre Dame and Louvre museum and next to the bus station, train and metro. The staff was very polite and provided all the major information. My room was on the 6th floor viewing the rooftops of Paris and the room provided air condition, table and chair, a kettle and Nespresso machine, a small safe and small fridge, iron, hangers, bathrobe, amenities kit, hotel slippers and new towels everyday. The cleaning service was everyday. The location it couldn't have been better and for that reason I recommend!!

Our stay in Paris was fantastic owing to the Hotel Alixir’s staff. We were only there for three days but we were given the use of a left luggage area with no fuss whatsoever. We checked in hours earlier than policy with no fuss whatsoever. The rooms are well maintained and had an iron and board and a coffee machine with free top ups when asked. The area is very central and within walking distances to most sights. The train station is 5 minutes walk. But the restaurants around the hotel are fantastic. Notre Dame is a stones throw away. Perfect in every way.

Clean hotel in a central location one block in from Châtelet Metro. Side street initially seemed quiet, but good cafe and restaurants at each end of the street. Great shower, disappointed that there wasn’t a toilet roll holder so the paper was simply sitting out on the sink or shelf. Disappointed that our Double Superior did not have a closet for clothes, only a standing rack to hang items. Perhaps more conducive for a one night stay rather than a than looking to unpack over a 4 night stay. Overall a clean and comfortable room.

Rooms were good, but not the best ever. Service was amazing, and the location was great. Overall, I thought this hotel was a great value in the heart of Paris. I would recommend staying here

The only positive thing I can say is the location is great. The staff is awful!!! The rooms are small, they turned off the A/C while guest were staying in the hotel, with temperatures above 65 degrees without telling the guest anything. Had to sleep with the window open and the noise from out and the location made it unbearable. Breakfast was a joke, uncooked bacon, had to boil your own eggs, and bread was hard as a rock. Whoever says this is a great hotel is lying.
