The staff was very friendly and helpful with metro/transportation. Room was great. Very quiet. !0 minutes or less to the metro.

Lovely green oasis. The room was cool & quiet. It was a very hot day & I was worried about the lack of air conditioning, but it really was not needed. Lovely place.

What a Gem in such a great neighborhood! The staff is so lovely and attentive. Breakfast was great. super easy to park my car and they had a private secured parking too! Will definitely come back!

Lovely comfortable room just off the garden. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The attached restaurant is very good and perfect if you're arriving late evening as I did.

Clean rooms. Small but charming. Across from park. Close to two metro stops. Great breakfast but cost of breakfast and taxes not included in Orbitz price. Friendly front desk English speaking people. Have stayed there several times

The pictures of the hotel were not accurate. The garden was not at all like it appeared in the photos. The mirror in the bedroom was broken and our fridge did not work. Even though we told them, it was not fixed in the 4 days we were there. They did let us use their fridge but there was limited space. The staff, however, was very nice, helping us get directions to places and figuring out the metro. The hotel was a little inconvenient in little street away from restaurants and stores. It was quiet though and the metro was a 5-10 minute walk.

Lovely, friendly hotel opposite a beautiful park and a peaceful garden. Great for kids too (we had a 5 and 6yo). We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Paris!

It is quiet and beautiful.

Wonderful hotel in a charming, less-explored part of Paris. The staff was tremendously helpful. We arrived at 6 am and they allowed us to use a room until ours was ready. They went above and beyond in helping us get an appointment that we needed. Beautifully decorated rooms not too far from the metro with a shopping mall several blocks away that had everything one could possibly need. Truly outstanding hotel.

I love le Vert Galant! I have been staying there since 1998 when I read a review that said one would be as cozy as Floppsie and Moppsie. They were right!

This family-owned, small hotel has a garden in back and a park in front. The room was comfortable and clean. Walking distance to two metro stations. The street itself doesn't have much in the way of services but the surrounding neighborhoods have cafes, restaurants, groceries, pharmacies, boulangeries, etc. The staff were all very gracious. I was disappointed that the Basque restaurant was closed for renovations but hope to try it when I come back!

For the price this is a great basic hotel. We stayed for 7 nights, very peaceful with rooms facing the interior garden. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. The restaurant run by the owners is Basque and well known. Three metro stations are within 5 - 10 minutes walk and an award winning boulangerie on Blvd Auguste Blanchi. The Buttes-aux-Cailles is a happening neighbourhood with lots of restaurants about 10 minutes walk. We would happily stay there again.

A peaceful place in Paris is hard to find, but this is such a place! The owners and staff are kind and helpful, friendly and welcoming. We took the optional breakfast which was simple and set us up for the day. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed including an excellent shower in the spotless bathroom. Unfortunately wet weather kept us from using the garden but it was a little oasis among the buildings. We also ate excellent food in the attached restaurant. We really hope to return as we appreciated it all so much.
