The staff at Estherea were delightful. They helped me fix my broken eyeglasses (I wasn’t traveling with the appropriate screwdriver for that) and also let us borrow a luggage scale when we were preparing to check out and fly home. 10/10, would definitely stay again.

Centrally located from both urban and quiet districts providing easy access to most experiences and trams. The young staff are exceptionally courteous and professional at the highest standards. Leo and his team at the bar are the best, make you feel like royalty, and has all the local knowledge you’ll need to point you to the experiences you’re looking for. No western outlets, so bring a European plug converter for your chargers. We will be back!

We absolutely loved how each room was so fun and funky! They felt very modern and were in such a great location, making everything feel even more special. The decor was amazing and we would stay there again.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept. We’ve stayed there before a number of years go and the hotel continues to be kept up to those standards. The disappointing part of our stay was that power went out for about eight hours in the block surrounding the hotel and there were no generators or other ways to power up and light the hotel. Under the circumstances one would expect some level of compensation or refund for those who endured this inconvenience for a long period of time, and despite my requesting it the hotel made no such concession. There wsn’t even an apolgy from the from the front desk. Upon request they said it was not their fault and that they provided a complimentary cocktail for those who asked. They added that the staff went theough the same inconvenience. This response does not seem commensurate with a hotel of this quality and magnitude. It seems tone deaf frnkly. I would recommend that the management of the hotel be a bit more considerate to their guests in these circumstances, even if the power outage was not the hotel’s fault.

We loved this hotel. It felt like a guest house. From the minute we walked in the door and With the pleasant and helpful staff, the hotel was a pleasure to come back to after a day of touring. There’s a gym in the basement of the building, that we used. On the main level there’s always coffee, infused water and some plates of cookies which was nice. We spent some time sitting in the lounge areas thumbing through books that they have. Our favorite time of day was when the cats made an appearance! The night before we left, the staff put in our request to schedule a taxi to the airport and it was there right on time in the morning.

The hotel is decorated so tastefully. We absolutely loved it. The location is perfect and we could walk to everything. We enjoyed the bar area and the nuts as a snack. The room was beautiful and spacious and very comfy beds.

Nice clean boutique hotel in a quiet area of the city, but close to everything there is to do in Amsterdam. Foyer bar in the evening serves breakfast in the morning. Had a small but very clean room that was nicely decorated in floral design.

This hotel is a feast for the eyes! I love this place for the beautiful fabrics and decoration throughout. My husband loves the coffee room so he can get a latte and cake/cookies. Such a special treat. My only disappointment is that the bar no longer has frites (French fries) on the menu. My memory was they were the best I have ever had any where in the world! I also wish it were a little more affordable. It is certainly a splurge but well worth it. I love the location as well.

Our room (404) was a good size and the bed was really comfortable. No view however. Bathroom was a good size with separate whirlpool bath and shower. Only downside I would say was the separate toilet , which was the opposite side of the room to the bathroom and didn’t have a wash basin . It was also on the small side so if you are tall there’s not a lot of legroom to close the door and ensure privacy. Good selection at breakfast, eating area is small so you have to book a time and you are limited to 45 minutes. Bar seemed to have a good range of drinks on offer and the help yourself coffee , water and cookies were a nice touch. No restaurant at night so you have to eat out. Seeing the cats in the lobby was fun if you are a cat lover like me.

Beautiful property and amazing staff. Very luxurious stay. Leo, the bartender is exceptional at knowing the perfect combination of liquors to create memorable sips. We were first assigned room 415, which had construction on the other side of our headboard that began at 7:30am. When I complained, Reception changed our room for better sleep. All the rooms are truly beautiful and unique.
