Great location and friendly staff. Basic room. Towels were changed every day. Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi available during my stay from June 7 to June 12. I was first told the issue would be fixed within two days, but after those two days passed, another staff member informed me that there was an outage affecting the neighborhood and that the connection would only be restored on June 12, the day I was checking out. This was very disappointing, especially since reliable internet was one of the amenities I expected during my stay.

The room was basic, clean, quiet with a kettle. Towels were changed every day which I was not expecting and not really necessary. Helpful receptionists and they very kindly helped me with my heavy case. Great location! Yards from the Opera House and a few metres away from the Old Port. Would recommend it as good value for money.

Long and steep stairs to reception but there is an elevator to the other floors. The room was tiny. I’d asked and paid for a twin but we were given a double and then charged extra to move to a twin. Neither the tv nor the air conditioner worked. No phone or fridge. Great location but that’s pretty much it.

This is a wonderfully central place to stay with welcoming and helpful staff. The room was a bit shabby but for the price it was a real bargain.

Extremely convenient location, 2 mins from the Old Port (& Metro). Handy for excursions, helpful Tourist Office plenty of eateries, shops, small supermarkets & museums. Listed as a 2*. Could easily be a 3*, but suggest investing in redecorating & general upkeep. Kept clean, comfortable, but messy / incomplete repairs. I arrived after midnight, but reception was manned & extremely helpful. Encountered 3 other very helpful staff members (unfortunately 1 one very tall, young man was ignorant & always on the phone). Would gladly stay again & highly recommend. Thank you for a great stay.

Plus side: the lady on reception was lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was comfy. DOWNSIDE: you needed to buzz to enter the hotel. It was supposed to be a 24 hour reception. I arrived back at the hotel at just after midnight on 2/9/25. I pressed the buzzer with no luck. I also banged on the front door, with no response. I was buzzing and/or banging between midnight and 02:30 approximately, at which point I accepted I was homeless for the night. During this time I contacted Expedia who tried ringing the hotel with no luck. I had also tried ringing but just got voicemail. Finally at 07:30 approximately the door was opened. The man at reception was cleaning his teeth when I got to the top of the stairs. This indicated to me he had been sleeping and was just freshening up. He was also wearing AirPods. I suspect he turned the buzzer off in reception so he didn’t get disturbed and then either slept or was listening to his AirPods. Either way he was not doing his job and I was left to walk the streets of Marseille all night. He did not apologise but simply claimed it was the first time the buzzer had been heard. I was given a refund for the night, but having to stay awake all night affected the following day and ruined my experience.

Great location and cheap. Generally clean but just very shabby and rundown. It’s a 2 star hotel but I’d give it 1 star. Nice staff. It seemed clean but the floor hadn’t been mopped so dust and bits of fluff. Cheap and quiet considering the area near port.

The place seems worn out and needs some repairs. However, for the price, it offers a great location.

Unfortunayly in front of hotel a girl stolen my wallet and i need to go oolice and consulate

Comfortable bed but unfortunately room is opposite a nightclub playing music till 0300, given there is no air on you either have noise with the window open or a very warm room

We stayed on Saturday night, there was a club across the street that played loud music until four in the morning. Otherwise everything is good.

Perfect location. Very friendly staff. The room was small and very basic

No elevator

Location was great - very close to the marina, eating places, shops, Office de Tourism and some transport. Room was clean - but small (that's France). The addition of an electric jug would have been a big improvement. I prepaid my accommodation but was asked to pay again when I checked in. Apart from that incident, staff were nice.

Perfectly standard French hotel. A bit retro, clean and friendly. Decent breakfast.

Can’t beat the location. Very central to everything city center, Vieux port, museums, shopping, short bus ride to the beaches, short bus ride to Notre dam basilica. Accommodations and service quality can be improved. Overall reasonable value for the money.

Lovely cl an well located hotel but very loud at night

The place is suitable for simple stay just with bed and breakfast. Close to the Metro station, it is nice to explore the city. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Very close to the city center , great pubs and food all around you ,no coffee making in rooms .
