Uncrowded, smallish and quiet (we requested a back room) traditional Viennese styled and furnished hotel with modern amenities and attentive and very helpful Staff away just steps away from St. Stephens Square and the Underground, tram stops and many/shops/restaurants. Excellent breakfast buffet, a large, quiet and beautifully furnished off-lobby lounge area and, in our room, an unusually large and well-equipped bathroom. Some of the corridor carpets show wear, and if that detail would trouble you, then look for a modern styled non-traditional hotel.

Loved this Hotel. It’s centrally located, the staff is friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The rooms are clean as well as the bathrooms. The morning breakfast is excellent.

The staff and location of this hotel are highlights. Everything is close by and walkable. I highly recommend this hotel!

The bed was very small. Like a couch

The location was fantastic- just off the Stephansplatz and near the U-bahn. Close to the Opera. The price was good for the location. Breakfast was good to very good. The room was nice. It had a very slight musty odor but was clean.

Amazing experience. It was everything I wanted for the trip and some more. The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is so pretty and clean. I will definitely go there again and again.

felt fortunate that we chose this hotel for my young daughter’s first visit to Vienna and would recommend it (and have already done so) to anyone planning to visit Vienna. It’s minutes away by foot to all the major landmarks and hidden gems of ancient Vienna city center but located along a street of local boutiques not bothered by the often noisy crowds of international tourists. After all we went to Vienna to experience Vienna and Austria; we have enough Hermes and alike in Manhattan. The hotel is old-school Vienna, both in terms of its physical structure and services. My daughter noted the rather spacious bathroom and the outer & inner doors to the hotel room. In some ways it’s a throwback to a bygone age. During our stay most other guests were German speakers. We enjoyed its particular charm, although some may find its digital infrastructure not up to date. The staff offered warm and gracious service of a kind that has become rare in today’s world. In particular, on our last day the manager whom we had not met before happened to be in the lobby when we returned from a long day of sightseeing. Upon noticing my daughter eyeing the antique phone in the lobby, he and the gentleman on duty at the front desk arranged a *secret* call (not once, but four times) so that my daughter could experience using a real phone and I could videotape the charming scene and conversation. It’s certainly a sweet memory we will always cherish.

Wonderful staff. Breakfast was good. Room and bathroom were the biggest we stayed in on our month long trip. We walked to most sights and the Underground was a block away for other sights. Our only complaint was that delivery/trash trucks came by early (they needed to as it was the only time they could access the pedestrian area). Taxi was able to come within 100 feet of front door

Travelled with my mom to visit an art exhinition in Albertina. We liked this hotel very much. Walking distance to everything. Perfect Vienna experince. 10/10! Thank you!

We were only there for 1 night, but it was a good choice. The hotel is within walking distance to shopping, dining, pubs, The Spanish Riding School. I definitely made a good choice!

The rooms had an old smell. We stayed in two and they were the same. I would be nice if coffee service was available in the room.

Excellent location by the underground and St. Stephen’s cathedral. My room had a nice big bathtub I requested and an impressive breakfast spread included!

Very nice hotel, clean, perfect location and great breakfast. Very helpful personnel. However, do not take a room facing the street if you want a quiet morning as they start emptying lorries and transporting goods outside the entrance of the hotel at about 06.40 every morning…extremely noisy unfortunately.

Very conveniently located to tourist attractions. Room was large with a nice sitting area. The only thing I didn't like was having to hand over the key every time I left and then having to ask for it back to get to my room.

A beautiful hotel, very classy

Fantastic location and steps away from Sr. Stephan’s cathedral and several of the Christmas markets. If you prefer to be in the heart of everything, this is the hotel to stay in!
