Really warmly welcomed and showed to a very small room - that's ok it's only an overnight stay. Returning later on it seems the heating in the bathroom cannot be turned down or indeed off! EXTREMELY uncomfortable nights sleep as only way to cool down room is to open the window to street in front of hotel. This causes restless night sleep due to road noises right through the night. Hotel unable to move to us to another room as they are full but completely unwilling to offer any help. Surely a hotels basic facility is to offer a comfortable night's sleep - great big FAIL here!!!? Shame as the town is lovely but our stay rather ruined by the obstructic nature of the hotel management.

Most of the staff was very friendly, it was very clean and interesting design. Perfect location. The room was a bit hot and stuffy. Overall a great choice.

As Americans taking a very short trip to Europe, we decided on Colmar because we did not want to keep moving hotels. We picked the very best hotel in Colmar! Hotel Columbier was fantastic! Clean, updated, perfectly located with an incredibly attentive staff that treated us so well. (Thanks Theo for the great service!). I will recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to visit without hassle.

Great hôtel in a great location. Staff were very helpful, polite and patient when we were attestons to speak French, encouraging our efforts to speak their language. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage while we spent a few hours exploring. Would recommend this hôtel.

Lovely modern styling in a collection of ancient buildings. Very attentive staff who speak good English. Limited parking so may well have to drop luggage and park elsewhere. Hotel is right in the little Venice area surrounded by medieval streets and great restaurants.

Cute hotel in Petite Venice, walking distance to everything. Staff was friendly and convenient parking across the street. AC worked well. I’d stay here again!

We loved this hotel. Especially the quality of the room and breakfast dining room. Our only comment on a short coming was our room was on etage 2, with access via a steep curving stairway.

Beautiful property, but it should be well noted and prominently disclosed that this hotel is across three seperate buildings with public roads in between.

This property is beautiful. We had a comfortable king bed and the bathroom was huge and moderm. Love that they provide robes and slippers. On the website the pictures are the main hotel. Our room was across the street (Diana Collection) which we were surprised why we are not in the main hotel. I was told they have 3 building. I wish I knew that they have 3 buildings because I would have requested to be in the main hotel. Where the reception, lobby, bar etc are located. I have to acknowledge the staff who are very helpful, friendly, accommodating in every possible way. The location of the hotel is 15 min from the Colmar train station. It is right by Petite Venice and old town. Tons on restaurants in the area and souvenir shops. Everything is walking distance. I recommend this hotel and would love to come back. Stayed 2 nites.

The staff is wonderful - very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are also several nice areas to gather with friends for drinks and/or breakfast. One note - there is not air conditioning and the old stone buildings and streets echo the noises from this very popular location so if you go in warmer months, be prepared to be warm at night or have some noise from the open window until late.
