The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, a little warm at times but as this a historic building they cannot install A/C. The bar is excellent, as is the local brew Barya. Out motorbikes were parked securely in the private car park, which costs €16 per space per night (3 bikes in one space, no problem.) The hotel is superbly located for access to town centre cafes and restaurants. Thoroughly recommended.

The staff was absolutely amazing. In particular, Clara went out of her way to be friendly and helpful from the minute we entered the hotel lobby. The location was perfect with access to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions within easy walking access.

Rooms were a bit small but the location was good for access to the town. Breakfast was fine, nothing extravagant.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Hôtel de Brunville & Spa. The staff at the reception were all friendly and professional. The room was small and with limited storage space but it was well maintained. It had a kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. The courtesy tray with tea, coffee and mineral water was replenished daily. They had a small bar next to the reception. The reception staff also covered the bar. The service from everybody was wonderful. We were especially impressed by the young gentleman who gave us a brief "introduction to Calvados" course when we were unsure which one to order. The young lady who once served our country pate and on another occasion our boeuf bourgignons was also friendly and professional. The food and snacks we had at the bar were good. It was also very practical to have a place where you could get some snacks at any time of the day as the restaurant opening times in Bayeux were not very user friendly: They were open for lunch, closed, and reopened at 7pm. We once booked the spa for 90 minutes. It was very nice: They had a very high quality Finnish sauna and a jacuzzi. The spa area was also very cosy. If we come back to Bayeux we will almost certainly again stay at Hôtel de Brunville & Spa. That is partly due to the good location and nice room, but mainly due to the lovely staff.

The apartment we stayed in was a great space for our family of 4. It was clean and bright. We utilized the hot tub and loved that bathrobes were provided for that. The staff we encountered were all extremely kind and helpful.

We stayed here for two nights while touring the Normandy beaches.The hotel was in an excellent location with adjacent public parking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The beds however resembled some we seen on our last trip to Pompeii…hard as stone we didn’t sleep much. Perhaps other rooms were better…we were in 305. Otherwise the hotel was fantastic.

Really enjoyed our stay!

It was a tad confusing as it’s attached to hotel Luxembourg and they share a reception. But we were greeted warmly and our room was ready and the infant crib was already in there. Perfect after tired all night flight. Location is great! Near the center. Staff was kind. Would recommend!

My tv had issues and the staff helped me figure out its quirks. They also stored refrigerated items for me and indulged me when I tried speaking French. They were so lovely I would go back to this hotel for the front desk staff alone!

Room was clean but very small . No free parking at the property. You could pay a daily fee to park. Free parking was a 5 minute walk. Expedia listed that there was a safe in the room, that was important to us, but it was not there You had to store valuables at the front desk Staff at this hotel was hard workings and extremely friendly and accommodating.

Staff was great! Room was nice & clean. Hotel was close to what we wanted to see. Downside .... our room was across a very busy street from the cinema. Lots of groups chatting & yelling & having fun. Good for them, but not for us as we were just trying f to sleep & that was tough. Motorcycle running up & down the street late didn't help. I'd stay here again, just ask for a quiet room.

Very nice historic building in quieter area, close to main street with shopping and restaurants. We were upgraded to the hotel next door (Luxembourg). Very poor wifi for streaming/connectivity. Very loud due to other guests slamming doors closed - inside and outside (parking lot). Breakfast option is convenient but not worth $19 euros per person. Towels for pool are not provided but if you ask the front desk, they can give you robes.
