This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our trip, but unfortunately, it was also the worst. The place felt really old and in desperate need of updates. The walls seemed to have no insulation—you could hear everything from the hallway and the neighboring rooms. Definitely not worth the price.

Great Location. Apartment clean but a little dated. The balcony and view made up for this! Would stay again.

Although a little dated, this is a great hotel with attentive staff, ideal location near the beach & good breakfast options too! Rooms have all you need for your stay. Highly recommended!! Thanks to the whole team 👏👏

A great beach and ok town with many restaurants and bars, non threatening and for boating types very good.

This hotel is very well located 200 yards from the beach and the main avenue where shops and restaurants are. It has good amenities on property, from outdoor pool, restaurant, cocktail and snack bar, minigolf and a grocery store. It has decent 1 bedroom apartments with a small kitchen, the only downfall was no microwave available for kitchens. Xons is a very food place for familes due to overall location and what if offers with really good price.

For the price and 3 star hotel, it is a great basic hotel with a view of the sea.

Very old place. This hotel needs to be renovated, specifically the plumbing. Dirty floors and the bathroom smelled like sewage. Hair in the tub. Very bad experience. The location of the hotel was the only great thing of our stay.

Great location and view. Customer service was very good. Breakfast was a busy and noisy but overall the food was good.

We missed having no kettle,toaster,bottle opener,microwave,grill or oven. Reception staff were fine. Hotel is dated but we expected that. Views from higher floors fabulous. Empuriabrava is a place I will go back to, the center has a lovely atmosphere and beach is gorgeous.Boating is amazing.

We got a really good deal, although not our first choice and we were not expecting much we were extremely surprised as to the value for money we got. The hotel was ideally placed for the beach and the shops. Supermarket right next door and plenty of restaurants and shops next door. Wifi not great the higher up you go in the hotel. We were on level 9 and asked to move and the staff were great and very helpful and moved us instantly to a better room. Kids entertainers were very friendly around the pool with evening activities available if you wanted. Pool a little dated, small and basic. Overall pleased with the hotel

Peaceful and quiet...just right

I booked this place just as we arrived in Spain from a long drive from France. The twown wasn’t much to look at, the hotel was very basic, the bathroom door wouldn’t close and slightly off the hinges. The beds had rubber sheets which were nosy and a bit weird, the “ocean view” was only a view when you walked out on the terrace and leaned over to the right. The breakfast buffet is an absolute don’t, it’ll destroy your day and is a waste of 6€. I would skip this area and certainly the hotel.

The location is very good, close to everything and that's it - hotel is very dated and the check-in took more then a 1/2 hr as there was only one receptionist that also had to take phone calls.

Great location. Basic accommodation but every thing you need and cost effective.

I have seen public housing in better shape than this hotel. First it is filthy. Cob webs in multiple corners. Shabby furniture with water damaged legs. Hard mattresses with PLASTIC sheets. What hotel puts plastic sheets on the bed? Dirt in corners. Dirty around toilet. Shower scum and moldy tub. Took photos of how bad it was but not able to upload. Tried to tell front desk without any response. Internet to slow to check email or complete a booking without timing out. It is no more than indoor camping.

free wifi was sometimes very slow possibly due to the amount of people trying to access it Hotel was great overall and very close to the sea. swimming pool was a good size, as was our room, furnishings are now looking a little tired but air con worked well and the room was kept clean by the staff

Had to change our room due to a rowdy sport team that were staying - late at night.

Probably the worst hotel my family. Needs immediate renovation. Bathroom was particularly dirty. Breakfast buffet's quality was appalling. Rotten tomatoes as well as broken eggs on display. We hardly ate anything. Someone else complained to the staff and order a fried egg as he could "not eat any of this stuff". Only positive was the sea view and the polite lady at the reception during checking in.
