Lovely location, next to the square and 7 minutes from the ferry terminal. Useful bar/cafe downstairs.

Perfect location to explore the area. Close to boat station- easy to access from Milan (train and boat). Stunning view from roof pool, Clean, comfortable room.

The room was a decent size, the partial lake view was a bit average so wouldn’t recommend booking it as the window is tiny and there’s no balcony. The bed was very comfortable though and bathroom clean. I arrived early and found that the hotel didn’t tell me they had a pool upstairs or offer to let me hang out up there while I waited for my room to be ready. I also tried getting help to understand the ferries and book taxi’s as I was meant to have an early start and was given a number but no real customer service or proper help. I also tried contacting them before arrive for help but the response was average. The rooftop pool is stunning though!

Sadly this hotel didn’t meet expectations. We paid for the best room which we thought had a terrace with lake view this was a small balcony with partial lake view, The bed was old and you could feel the springs in the mattress. This hotel is living on its location and is in need of some TLC.

The views from the hotel is amazing. My only complaint is that in the reservation, I requested two separate beds but during check-in, they said they don't have rooms with 2 separate beds available. I wish they told us this earlier.

I read the reviews before I stayed. I would stay here again as it is well priced for the area. My view from the terrace room was fantastic. Our room was renovated.

Lovely three day stay in Menaggio where we really enjoyed the hotel. The property sits on the water and a sweet square, full of life, dog walking and beautiful views. Hotel Du Lac is like an inn, with a small coffee cafe restaurant on property. Everything we had there was wonderful, and the view of the lake and activity on the walkway was lovely. Special thanks to employee Faisal who was patient with me when I called being"lost" at another property of the same name in another lake town. He was kind, got us on the right ferry and welcomed us when we arrived at the front desk. He also was our server for a quick lunch upon arrival, and we felt well taken care of. Overall a quiet little town, not as crowded as some of the more known towns, and we highly recommend the town and Hotel Du Lac.

Nice room under the roof. View of lake. But loved the bar/dining area with big windows looking over the lake and mountains.

Was a bit noist. Biggest problem was the beds. Very hard!

Our non-smoking room had a beautiful patio view, but smoke from the street and nearby diners made it difficult to keep the door open. Rooms on higher floors would avoid this issue.

Excellent location right on the main square. The staff were friendly. The only negative is that the AC was a bit weak. Would stay again
