Hotel Cannobio is gem.

Very friendly staff at this perfectly situated hotel in a lovely lakeside town with lots to do - swimming in the gorge of Santa Ana a particular highlight.

Light fitting missing , towels smelt off. Beds not too comfortable ( basic mattress) no parking Good location, friendly reception

Very nice hotel at a superb location. Rooms vary in size and getting one with lake view makes the experience fulfilled. Breakfast is amazing and the restaurant, with separate seating next to the lake, is also very good Italian cuisine. Service varies depending on who sits at the counter but most are very kind and speaks several languages. Only minus to be aware of is that cars cannot park close to the hotel so a remote parking is required and not serviced by the hotel. Plan to come back again....

Beautiful area & lovely atmospheric hotel to enjoy Cannobio. We had small balcony w fabulous view of the lake. Room was nicely decorated. Linen & bedding was great. All together a great stay.

This hotel has been here for a very long time and has retained the grandeur of old times still, but with modern amenities. We had a lake view room, which was a corner room at the side of the hotel, providing a view over the piazza and shops along the lakefront. Room had plenty of space for bags etc. Two twin beds pushed together. Very modern and spacious bathroom too. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was an extra E20 each per day, so we opted for local cafes, of which there were many that offered continental breakfasts. Many restaurants nearby, but best to just have a drink at the lakeside ones and eat more economically just behind in the old town. Sunday clothes market was huge! Need to be aware, that only limited ferry service at Cannobio and the rapido service down to Stress is the best to reduce the time from 2 to one hour. Cannobio easiest to access by ferry, but can get buses x 2 from Locarno.

Charming hotel first row to,the shore. We really did enjoy the stay in Cannobio where you find a great balance between relaxation, opportunities and a stunning view.

Fantastic!

Although our 4 day stay we were treated as honoured guests. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff, although professional,were kind and friendly. The hotel had two outdoor dining options, one being more formal and expensive the other had more of a brasserie feel to it. The breakfast was fabulous with everything you could possibly want, even sparkling wine.

Leider war der Empfang der anwesenden Person dürftig. Sie wirkte irgendwie überfordert, bei der Anfrage auf ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Das Essen hingegen und der Service im Garten war hervorragend. Gruss Fam Ferpozzi

Perfekt beliggenhed og superflot service. Smuk morgenmadsterrasse med fin morgenmad. Hotel sørger for at parkere din bil i et nærliggende, aflåst p-hus. Cannobio er en fantastisk lille by med smuk beliggenhed.
