I have seen many reviews mentioning that the hotel’s automated check-in system is unusual and difficult to use, with some guests stating they had to call or message via WhatsApp to obtain their entrance and room codes. However, I found these reviews somewhat misleading. Once payment for the room is completed, all the necessary information for access is provided promptly, eliminating the need to queue at a traditional check-in desk. As for the room, while the renovation is older and there are some signs of wear and tear, it was clean and well maintained. Overall, the condition was reasonable and certainly not as negative as some reviews suggest.

The biggest advantages of this hotel were definitely the price and the location. The room itself was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. However, we did experience some issues with check-in and communication. We contacted the hotel via WhatsApp (one of their listed communication methods) to ask about an early check-in option, which they offered at £10 per hour. The communication was quite unclear- they would respond, but often we were left unsure and had to follow up again for clarification. Eventually, we received the check-in code a few hours before the official check-in time, and no additional fee was requested, so we assumed the early check-in was confirmed. However, when we arrived, the code did not work. For about 30 minutes, no one answered our calls or messages, so we were left waiting in the reception area without access to the room. We were finally able to reach someone by phone, but they were unsure why the door wouldn’t open. After some time, they mentioned they had changed something on their end and that the issue might have been caused by the early check-in. This was quite frustrating, especially since the early check-in option is something they offer. Aside from the check-in experience, everything else was decent.

The rooms are good (comfortable, good shower). Especially the breakfast is amazing, best pancakes I ever had (and I ate a lot of them :-)).

I was in catshow Baltic Winner 26, hotel was nice and was overall nice place, pet price was for 2 days 30€ what is crazy, room tempture was 24... there was room tempture controller but it didint work at all...

Absolutely rubbish hotel. “Mutton dressed as lamb”, as the old saying goes. 4 stars? Awarded by who? The manager? 😂 I’m not sure how it qualifies as a hotel without even a desk service. I’ve never stayed anywhere where you’d to call a call centre, wait on hold and do a check in over the phone. A 1 star hostel could do better. The carpets were as thin as paper, the bed as comfortable as a cinder block and the room just about held together. Cracks and shoddy patch work all over the place. There was 1 pillow for each person & the single spare pillow in the bottom of the wardrobe didn’t have a cover on it and so couldn’t be used. Don’t bother including the breakfast - if I tried to feed it to my dogs they’d report me for cruelty. It’s also worth noting that there is no lift - be prepared to drag your cases up flights of stairs with no assistance.
