10/10. Wonderful hotel and experience

We had our room upgraded on arrival. Beautiful, clean and spacious room. Had a little balcony with a lovely view of the city and mountains. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying there.

Second time in Bergamo & second time staying at this hotel , absolute perfect location & lovely rooms.

Stayed here for one night and the hotel was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful on arrival. Room was great with beautiful views of the start of the Italian Alps, also very spacious and very clean. Continental breakfast was lovely with plenty of options. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location. The owner, management and staff were sweet, kind, and helpful. Rooms were clean, and charming. Breakast buffet was outstanding. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Booked overnight stay due to late evening flight into Bergamo. Hotel booked private taxi transfer which was much cheaper, about 10 min drive to Citta Alta. Hotel reception is up a steep set of steps, very friendly staff, lift up to room. Good sized room, good air con. Very low beds but comfortable & very clean. Good bathroom. Very quiet. 1 min walk to large square with lots of bars & restaurants. Super buffet breakfast. Were able to store luggage while we explored Citta Alta which is so beautiful, cobbled streets, gorgeous buildings and shops. Fabulous views over Bergamo, took the funicular further up to castle, and spent hours in restaurant enjoying the views. Definitely recommend and would return again.

Excellent location in Bergamo, stayed in the deluxe room. Hotel staff were exceptional. Breakfast first class, food always fresh.

Great location and they assist you with finding parking. The only issues were that the front desk staff is rude and need to go up the stairs with you luggage with no help to do check in and the towels and bed sheets smells very strong like vinegar 😒

Our room aircon did not work and the bed was in poor shape. Simple speaking broken and uncomfortable. The staff was great, tried to help by moving us but they were full.An uncomfortable night.

Liked the location and friendliness. Steep stairs were a little daunting. Breakfast was great. Food recommendations also very good.

The hotel was in an excellent location but you had a set of quite steep steps to get to reception. There was also new pavement laying directly outside. My room was quaint but rather gloomy light wise. The bathroom was modern and good.

Could not fault our stay here. Location was excellent.

Our twin room was lovely and spacious. Beautiful decor. Slightly noisy late at night as we had a city view room overlooking the main street near Piazza Vecchia. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide range of choices available. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Very good hotel in the middle of the old town. Only two items I can think of where the hotel could improve: 1- the air conditioning system in the rooms is not particularly user friendly, so one may end up feeling either too cold or too warm; 2- as the hotel seems to be family run, the same person who looks after breakfast is supposed to help customers check out, which clearly is an issue if somebody is in a serious hurry. If so, I'd suggest customers to clearly state at what time they need to leave the following day and if they need a cab, or else they might not enjoy their breakfast the next day.
