My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights whilst visiting Ischia. I don’t want it to sound like I’m being too mean in this review but I just want to lay out some clear positives and negatives that we both experienced. Positives: - the staff were all extremely friendly and a few of them spoke a variety of languages including English and German. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful with whatever we needed - The outside of the hotel was amazing, very picturesque and comfortable - The pool was nice, it was heated which was a positive. There were comfortable seats and deck chairs all around - The included breakfast was a good bonus. It included bread, cheese, meats, yoghurt, juice, coffee, and a variety of other things - Having a balcony in the room was also nice - We went to an amazing pizza place called Da Pasquale Pizzeria Ristorante. Very good prices and would highly recommend. It is up some stairs and through an alleyway near the main food area Negatives: - The air con did not work even though they advertised it in the listing. They said it would be fixed in a week. Because of this we had to have the balcony door open all night due to how hot it was. From having the door open lots of mosquitos came in and we both left with mosquito bites all over our body! This was one of the worst things about the hotel and is unacceptable - Another major negative is that after staying at the hotel, my partner and I noticed that we both have spots all over our face. At first we thought it was normal spots, but after doing some googling the type of spots look very similar to those of bed bugs. One other sign that this could be the case is that when we woke up we noticed blood spots on the pillow and bed sheets. We can not be 100% sure that this is the case but there are some clear signs that point towards it and if it is the case this needs to be sorted out immediately - The room was nothing special, there were some good things included like toiletries etc, but the balcony was very small and the bed was pretty uncomfortable - The hotel being up a massive hill was quite annoying but they do advertise it. The electric cart up there was free which was great but there were some times where they weren’t running it. But it was active most of the day - We did not realize how expensive the restaurants would be in the area. This is more down to us not looking into it, but it is something to keep in mind Overall I would not recommend this hotel in the state it is in. If they sort out the main issues I would recommend

Fabulous little quaint hotel. Cheap and cheerful breakfast included outside which is lovely. Do not book this hotel if you want luxury this is very rustic and basic but very relaxing. The staff were all lovely. At the top of a VERY steep hill but there is a free buggy service which was much needed. Very quiet, beds not very comfortable but does the job. Shower is clean and good shower pressure rooms were cleaned daily. Nice balcony. Staff and manager were wonderful. Pool and deckchairs very nice. Thank you again x

The hotel is located in an area that can only be accessed by electric cars. Once you reach the place they pick you up from, you must wait about 20 minutes to get the electric cars. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The AC did not work. However, the staff there was brilliant. The breakfast starts at 8:00 which is quite inconvenient for travellers that set out to explore the place early in the morning.

The highlight of this place are the room terraces with panoramic views. The room itself was very basic and could have used an upgrade. The hotel itself is secluded and very quiet. Cars are not allowed on the road leading to the facility. Electric golf carts haul you up on the narrow winding road. No restaurant on the premise so your only options are either to dine at one of the restaurants down by the water or pack groceries and do your own informal dining on the terrace, which suited us just fine for our stay. There is also a nice pool and decent complementary breakfast.

This hotel has not been upgraded in a very long time. There was mould all over the walls, ceilings, aircon units. The doors were flimzy. Aircon constantly didn't work and we all complained at reception. Mattresses are soft and thin. My remote was full of food. The pool was green, not from the 'colour of the tile' but from the dirt on the tiles so we could not get in it with the heatwave. The hotel was full and nobody got in! That says it all! The hotel taxi was not always available within the times that were given to us, usually at night! My brothers room was mouldier than mine 🫤. There was a beautiful view for breakfast. But even the parasol rope broke from being so old when I tried to put it up. The pictures on their site are clearly from when it first opened, you'll get a shock when you get there. They don't put any money into the maintenance of this place. I wouldn't recommend this place. Especially if you're not fit, cause you'll be walking up steep hills when you can't get a taxi.
