Gigi the receptionist is very friendly and helpful.. we had a wonderful time and the cost of it been very affordable .. clean quick in and out.. transportation: metro taxis uber around the corner, not to count all you want to eat with a few steps left and right

A great location close to metro and taxi rank but in a reasonably quiet area. And within easy walking distance of some major plazas and excellent tapas places and restaurants. Hotel staff very helpful. The room was a reasonable size and kept very clean.

Bathrooms are small but the location is great. Apparently no ac in the spring so it got hot. Neighbors very noisy one night.

Excellent place in one of the most fun places in central Madrid. There are numerous quality restaurants, shops and theatres nearby. There’s also a taxi stand around the corner. The staff is also very nice and helpful. Check-in is a breeze and mosh of all, the room was very clean and cozy. It’s also very safe. I recommend it and will not hesitate to stay again.

Room had three single beds so was convenient. The bathroom was a little small but adequate. Noise from the busy street below but the wooden shutters muffled most of it. Great for a couple nights stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is very good budget hotel close to the Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor in central Madrid. The reception area, on the ground floor, is attractive and the staff are very pleasant. We had a triple room, which was reasonably spacious, very clean and freshly decorated. Our reservation was that it was rather stark, and would have benefitted from some decorative features and softer lighting. The bathroom was a bit cramped. There was a fridge, which was useful, and it wasn't at all noisy. The room looked out on to the street, which is mainly pedestrian. It was quite noisy in the evening with people going past but not too bad.

Perfect location from which to explore Madrid! Walking distance to everything important (stores, restaurants, and transpo) One block from Puerta Del Sol plaza and 2 blocks from Plaza Mayor! Would stay there again next time! Tho its a no frills hostel, its the perfect place to crash and sleep and do nothing else, so dont expect any luxuries. But You wont find a better location anywhere in Madrid!!
