I would not stay here again. The room was very small, and they charged an additional 500 SEK cleaning fee, which felt excessive for what was provided. Good location. Apart from the first day, no services were provided. There was no coffee replenishment, and basic amenities were lacking. They did not provide slippers or towels, which was disappointing. They also asked to wash all the dishes and clean the room before leaving. Another issue was that there were mosquitoes in the room, making it uncomfortable, especially at night.

I highly recommend this hotel for many reasons: location, room conditions, excellent breakfast, kind and helpful staff.

Room was clean, staff was incredibly friendly. They quickly delivered a cot and extra bed when asked. Both reception and housekeeping were friendly with our 3 year old and had conversations with her and plenty of little gifts.

Clean, comfortable room, polite and helpful staff - thank you! One tiny complaint - there was a kettle in the room, but no tea or coffee. Of course, we were able to go out and buy some, but it would have been nice, arriving in the room late in the evening, not to have to go out again to pick some up.

The experience was quite good. My only gripe is the very early period of breakfast, making it a slight inconvenience when on a holiday. On another note, I commend the Scandic team for their commitment to eco-friendliness.

The sofa bed was very noisy every time you moved it could wake others up. No information given at reception or in the room about wifi etc had to figure it out yourself.

Hotel is close to the city centre. Quietish. Rooms are clean and functional. A Scandinavian version of Premier Inn.

Room was decent size but sofa bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was substantial but quality was average.

The included breakfast was excellent and provided the energy one needed for the rest of the day. The rooms were big and handled our large family very well. There was a nice area for kids to play.

We stayed as a family in a 5 person family room. This is a great option if you have 3 kids. We had a very nice stay at Scandic Malmo City. The room was spacious and clean. Our favorite part was the free breakfast. For the cost of the room, There were so many options to choose from and they were awesome accommodating food allergies for gluten or dairy. The lounge area does have limited food service but it’s quite limited so don’t expect a normal restaurant except for the breakfast. You have to “book” a breakfast time and room cleanings. My advice is, if you have flexibility, book your breakfast when more spots are open since it will be less crowded. Great location in the city. It’s easily walkable to many things to do in Malmo.

Loved this hotel, the location and breakfast service were both superb! We're a family of five, and not only did they have a room with beds for all five of us, but they had the beds all set up and ready for us. Also appreciated the in-room kitchenette. Highly recommend.

We had a very large room with kitchenette for the four of us which was great. We have been traveling throughout Sweden and our other hotel rooms have been small and tight so it was a nice surprise to have so much space.
