a Parador, it's a good hotel. The room was comfortable, though a bit high tech, We had very good breakfasts, plenty of choice. Food in the dining room was OK, but the service there was so so - some staff friendly and helpful, others rather detached. Location is excellent with views out to sea and a convenient bus service to town.

The property has a great location, beautiful pool deck and bar area. The breakfast was amazing! Checking in and out was very slow. Wish the pool was heated!

An excellent hotel. Comfortable, quiet and we had a room with a spectacular view. Having a drink at the bar and watching the sunset was a treat. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed during the only blackout since WW2. Lights and lifts were working. Wasn't their fault at all. Staff tried to cope but they started to wear thin after a few hours and food pretty much ran out of it was limited as to what the kitchen could cook. The building and position are amazing and the only 5-star in all Cadiz.

Excellent location, best professional and friendly staff, amazing views. The rooms comfort was more than expected, highly recommended.

Lovely hotel and great staff. Ideally located for walking to places of interest and restaurants.

Don’t expect a true Parador hotel, more an airport- or Carnaval cruise-style atmosphere.

We like everything about the hotel and the city - the carnival burlesque and brightness of the carnival in the downtown and the quietness of the neighbourhood. The only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the ocean and explore the surrounding towns.

Lovely modern Hotel. Very spacious room with balcony and very clean. Lovely toiletries in both bathrooms. Restaurant definitely worth a visit, lovely food and good service. Only downside was the bar which resembled a canteen. Cold feel throughout, uncomfortable chairs and not welcoming compared to the rest of the hotel. Would still thoroughly recommend.

We had a superior room but it was still quite small. The views are amazing; it's all about the views.

Hotel is nice with lovely views of the Ocean but Cadiz was very disappointing!

Great Place

Most unwelcoming hotel I have stayed in. Front desk staff should be fired and a new manager appointed. Food and beverage staff also unfriendly and coffee queue for breakfast a mess. More modern machines required. Room a triumph of form over function with a pretty useless bath occupying too much space. Lights, media system also overly complicated and outdated. Excellent location but better options available.

This hotel is located at the beginning of the seafront promenade, and our room offered an impressive view of the sea. The room was very spacious, with a jacuzzi and excellent water pressure. The hotel appears new and spacious, and the staff provided us with outstanding service. It has its own parking lot, which is very easy to access. Breakfast is included and offers enough variety to suit any taste. The Historic District is a 10-minute walk away, and the cathedral is 20 minutes away. The only issue we had was that, being in a less cold area of Spain, we didn't have control over the room temperature. During those days, the central room heating was unbearable for us, and even though reception turned it off, we had to open the balcony to sleep. This takes away the 5 points from this wonderful hotel

The property is a bit of a walk for restaurants. For us it was about 30 minutes. But taxis are available. The view from our room made the walk absolutely worth it!! The included breakfast was wonderful.

Loved my room with a beautiful view! A number of the staff were rude especially the one male waitstaff in the bar. Unwelcoming and sour. A smile would have gone a long way in the breakfast area but alas….
