Nice and helpfull staff. The chef created a tasting menu with wine pairing that was excellent. The hotel could do with some upgrades, however, what is a castle if not with some inconveniences. Will come back again.

The property itself and the ruins were a sight to be seen. It appears as though efforts are being exuded to improve the lodging however the toilet didn’t flush so we requested to change rooms the second night. Internet was down, pool was dirty, grounds unkept. There is no air conditioning, only a fan provided. Extremely quiet due to the remote location. Staff were as helpful as possible.

Spending time n the champagne terrace was a highlight. The staff could not have been more accommodating in every way. We were only sorry that the dining room wasn’t open on either night of our stay.

A beautiful building in a wonderful setting. Friendly people who couldn’t be more pleased to see you. Great menu degustation - highly recommended. A gem of a hotel and restaurant.

My son and I were on a 10-day father-son trip through the Champagne, Alsace and Western Germany regions. I had been yo Chateau de Fere some 30 years ago and had kept a highly memorable souvenir of my stay there then. This time, it was even better as Emma welcomed us as if we were family. This is a gorgeous property located within 1.25 hours from CDG airport. We will be here again...in this lifetime! Thanks Emma!

Gorgeous hotel with perfect remote setting next to some ruins. Good pool and spa. Gourmet restaurant ( other eating houses in village 3 km away) Rooms are good( tea and coffee making facilities are not at all good... coffee sachets in 5 star hotel!) Bath room well equipped would recommend

Stunning property and setting, rooms are pretty tired and need a refresh. Pool and spa both nice, restaurant very good although slightly overpriced for the quality. Positives outweigh the negatives for sure.

Fabulous experience we will stay again! Be sure to spend time looking about, there is a lot to see in the countryside, in addition to the resort hotel! The pool looked inviting but we had not the time. Food was superb service was excellent, a memorable stay!

Can not fault the staff or the premises. Our room was perfect, the food in the restaurant was amazing. My only feedback was the damp smell in the halls but we couldn't smell it in our room or the restaurant. The town itself is very old and not much happening. No cafes or restaurants. Just a pub and a bakery.

The location includes 13th century ruins, you will get great photos. The staff was professional, informative, accommodating and happy. The restaurant has delicious authentic cuisine at a reasonable price. The room was large and included bath, separate shower, coffee maker and mini fridge. The grounds are well maintained. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful staff, helpful and informative. Beautiful location and countryside, added bonus with historical ruins on site. Ideal location if wanting to visit Epernay, Reims and Paris. Peaceful and relaxing. Love to return to this Chateau on day.

Beautiful building in a great location. Bathrooms were dated and would be better if double beds had one mattress rather than 2 singles.

We arrived at 4pm and have to wait one hour for our room. What a mistake to reserve dinner at the restaurant! After one and half hour, the starter has not yet arrived. We complained but to no avail.

It's a nice enough place, but at this price, we expected better attention to detail. There were lightbulbs out in the bathroom, shower attachment in the bath didn't work. And we had trouble locking the door to our room. More of the staff didn't speak English than did.
