Staying in Hotel Residence was one of our the best experiences. The Hotel is recently renovated The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was equipped with Jacuzzi. You could have a relaxing time after hiking or sepending day in beach. Our room had a view to both beach and city central. The best things about this hotel, is about few minutes walk from ferry or bus. You don't need taxi or carry your luggage to up hills. The breakfast had a great selection. Meanwhile it had the best view toward the beach. Thanks to friendly professional staff.

Comfortable not as nice as i expected but sufficient

The hotel is convenient because it is close to both the ferry terminal and the bus terminal. The rooms and facilities in the hotel were clean and I was able to spend a comfortable time travelling.

Everything was excellent. Service in restaurant was superb. Breakfast was delicious, but another choice would have been good, since we stayed 5 days.

The room was beautiful and the view spectacular! The breakfast had everything we could want.

Our room was great - good size and very clean. We had a fabulous view from our balcony across to the port of Amalfi. Breakfast was on the first floor balcony which also had a great view over the beach and port. Breakfast was not a buffet as we have been used to so options were limited but the coffee and staff were great! The location of the hotel was so central to everything in Amalfi town - the cathedral, restaurants, the bus and ferry stations. Highly recommend Hotel Residence in Amalfi.

Nice hotel right in the heart of Amalfi opposite the sea. Good spacious room, shame that the shower was above the bath tub, who needs a bath tub nowadays. Clean and tidy, breakfast was included and was pretty good with plenty of choices, including hot food. No wine glasses or coffee cups available in the room, only paper cups. I rang down for wine glasses and was told to get them from the restaurant myself or I would be charged for room service if they were delivered! Should expect better in a 4 star hotel and at what they charge (over 1,600 Euro for 4 nights in October. Overall a good hotel in a great location.

Loved the location of this hotel. Even though it was right across from the port, buses and Cathederal, you couldn’t hear anything inside. Perfect for jumping on a ferry to check out the coast. Very friendly staff, great breakfast on the terrace of a Michelin restaurant in the hotel, yet still free. Would definitely recommend
