Clean room. Parking was safe and plenty. The shower water pressure was weak.

The property has a lot to offer for solo travellers like myself. Very friendly and helpful staff, and language was no problem even with minimal Spanish ability. Large comfortable room, and I've never experienced such a huge bathroom, large walk-in shower included. Excellent bar in lobby for drinks and snacks, plus restaurant with good but limited menu items (breakfast buffet is extra charge). Plentiful underground gated parking, bus stop directly outside. Taxi to/from airport quick and reasonable (set prices). Attractions (Old Town, museums) not far, but recommend transport rather than walking as the hotel sits atop a steep incline (staff can help with negotiating transport). In sum, highly recommend the Spirit!

The hotel is great but I could hear every single voice, step, chair pulling, water running or toilet flushing from adjacent rooms. The walls are literally paper thin and the elevators have a really weird system of operating when going between two floors can take about five minutes, no exaggeration. Amazing breakfast made up for all that.

Staff was extremely helpful and polite, car park is really handy. Overall, good value for money but bathroom slightly tired-looking. Not ideal for light sleepers as we could hear people in neighboring rooms.

Family of four including two young children. The hotel had a young and energetic vibe. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious. Not a cozy style, rather empty and uninviting. We only stayed one night. Parking on site. Great breakfast. Clean. Best fitness center ever though!

A clean, well run hotel with very helpful and attentive staff. Lots of good tips for getting into the centre of the city (thanks Laura). The minor issue we had was dealt with very swiftly and with a complimentary room up-grade. Will recommend.

Very nice clean hotel with parking which is hard to find in Spain. However it isn’t within walking distance of the Guggenheim Museum, the only drawback to the hotel.

Nice location

The hotel is next to the old town just 10 minutes walking. Near to the best restaurants super good service and excellent buffet for breakfast.

Large spacious room. On-site underground paid parking was really convenient for me. Bus 77 and the light rail station are really close by to get to the Guggenheim museum. Old town is within walking distance too.

Large spacious room and friendly staff with excellent English. Hotel was a short walk into the historic district and we appreciated the large car park on site (decent sized spaces for those with larger cars).

The staff was friendly and sometimes have helpful, depending on who you would get. The self parking garage is pretty tight, so don’t take a big car in there. The hotel is central to the south part of the city, which is useful depending on where you’re going. This is kind of an odd duck hotel because I think it’s ready to four-star, but it could really easily be a three star and it’s definitely not a five star. The rooms are definitely outdated, but not inconvenient or dirty. The shower is really good, which is a huge plus. I wouldn’t stay there again and I try a different hotel in the city, but it’s not terrible for the price.

Clean and large room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very dog friendly! Even got a couple of dog beds, bowls and treats.

Room was clean, spacious and modern, coffee machine and city view. Excellent breakfast buffet and sensational gym: a lage, well equipped modern training facility. Public transport directly in front of the hotel. Large car parking, although network connection (needed for EV charging) is poor on parking level -4 and definitely needs improvement. Otherwise, the many EV charging spaces are worthless…

It was fine. Basic kind of far from the center

Not as convenient as some other hotels in Bilbao but not terribly out of the way (beware the uphill walk from town!). Breakfast is special - very large selection and many healthy choices, especially for gluten-free. The room was fine, parking was a little tough to get in and out in our suv - but onsite and simple.
