Nice clean and air conditioned room

Great hotel for football fans but make sure you leave plenty of time to walk to and from your room - it's a long way round from the entrance the other side of the stadium ;-)

Every visit to a high standard from cleanliness to staff. 5 star every time. Very good value.

Pros: Booking easy, rooms spacious, staff very helpful, room super clean, discounted parking was great. Cons: breakfast very substandard, tub drain was blocked up with a huge human hairball so wouldn’t drain, steak was badly overcooked at dinner.

Front desk staff were cold and not at all welcoming. I'm a blue badge holder and asked about the parking charges ~ which were not there last time we stayed ~ curtly told EVERYBODY pays to park. Welcome hey.... only a single towel in the double room booked for 2 guests, took 20 minutes to bring another one. Morning staff courteous but uninterested. Won't be staying again.

Great example of what a Hilton hotel can be

The place was clean, and the staff where extremely helpful. There was a great selection of breakfast. There are restaurants & stores right next to the hotel. Also great transport links

Too hot in room aircon rubbish

We’ve stayed here before a few years ago. Sadly the decor hasn’t been updated but still a lovely hotel and lovely staff

We had a pleasant stay at the Double Tree. I liked the fact that it was nextdoor to a shopping Mall and close to the city centre. However, I was shocked at having to pay £19 for breakfast! Apparently it would have been only £11 if pre-booked. That is a huge difference.

Staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. We forgot a plug for the charging lead to the phone, fortunately they had one spare. The hotel was lovely and clean, rooms were very spacious. Bathroom was big, great shower. The beds were comfortable. Room was a nice temperature. Great to have a fridge in the room too, along with a hairdryer, iron, ironing board and safe. Bar staff were friendly, in fact everyone we came in contact with gave great customer service. Especially the young lady working in the bar yesterday afternoon 12/6. Very helpful, explained where the bus stop was, very friendly and chatty. Unfortunately didn’t catch her name. Think she’s only been working there a few months, but already an asset to the company. Great hotel, I’d recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here again. Everything was explained, regards breakfast and the car parking and how to get discounts on them all. Brilliant customer service

Everything was perfect. We had the best view, just looking out at the football pitch from our window. Absolutely perfect.
