Upon checking in, I found the room to be unclean, with blood stains on the bathroom towel and a shower handle that was completely detached. I was then required to change rooms and move all of my belongings to a different building after the issues with the room were discovered, and no assistance was offered during the process. The room itself was extremely small and had a very strange, impractical layout. The bed was also very uncomfortable, making it difficult to rest after a long day of travel. Upon check in, they also wanted to charge me an additional 10 euros per day to store my bicycle, which I had never heard about before. The only positive aspect of this property is the exterior of the building, which looks much better than the actual rooms inside.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is cozy, but very elegant with a grateful and outstanding restaurant. We wished we stayed longer.

Lovely and helpful staff! Restaurant was nice, and the place has personality. Overall we are very happy with the stay! My complaints are small: 1) some more guidance on parking (and ideally more parking spots) would be great. 2) we stayed in a twin room, and our beds were very creaky. they are old and in wood - beautiful! - but so loud. we woke each other up just by moving an inch.

The restaurant, the location, the staff, all wonderful. The room, not so much. The mattress was horrible with broken springs and a huge dip on the edges. The bathroom was without any privacy in the room. Who in their right mind wants to use the toilet while everyone in the room can see? There was no privacy in the bathroom. I would consider it such a drawback that I would give zero stars for the hotel but I give a three simply for the restaurant and staff. I will probably never stay their again, which is sad, because I go often to Timișoara.

centrally located a small hotel in Temiswara, wonderful location, excellent restaurant, nice pool and outside lounging area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay here. It was a true oasis compared to Bucharest. We felt relaxed and it was a charming, welcoming base to explore the city. The garden, the pool, the food options, the library were all great. Our teenage daughters loved the pool and the rooms. It is not in quite the historical centre but very close - 15 walking and a quick Uber ride. We would return! A great stay and introduction to Timișoara.

Good citybreak short term accomodation, close to city cathedral and pietonal square

The place is authentic and unique and suits those who don't want cold industrial design, beds although authentic carved wood creek when you move

The property has an excellent location in a quiet area within walking distance of the city centre. It was good value for money.

Location is very good-walking distance to the city-center. The garden is amazing. Pool looks nice (I had no time to use it). But the bed in our room (room 20) must be repaired/replaced the bed was damaged and made us feel very tired in the morning. We didn’t sleep well. And better change the coffee supplier. Select a better coffee. It is so nice to have a coffee in your garden.

Very quiet, good location, pool, excellent restaurant. Unfortunately safe did not work. The only draw back.

The hotel was great for an overnight stay, well maintained and comfortable. It is basic in construction, but clean. The pool was lovely to sit beside, but with swimming restricted to before 8pm we didn’t get a chance. Beds were comfy and bathrooms fine, a bit small and one room had glass doors and walls to the bathroom which isn’t much fun if you’re sharing a room. Otherwise it was great.

An amazing hotel short walk from city centre and river. Staff are so attentive, helpful and happy - nothing is too much bother. Lovely restaurant and good value menu. Pool area is quiet, clean and very relaxing. Our 3rd visit to this hotel since 2012 and nothing changes.

Beautiful grounds and decor in the main areas. Restaurant is delicious, busy, and well priced. Pool is incredible. Rooms are a bit dated but the price point is perfect for the location and overall grounds make you feel like you’re in a palace.

Parking was on the stree in front of the hotel, only few places but with security camera. Hotel is very nice and cozy. Very clean room and confortable bed. Restaurant offered complementary drinks and the food is traditional and very tasty. Loved the pool and also spa services. 100% Recommend !
