1970’s hotel at 2025 prices….The only way to describe this place would be as something out a horror film, rooms are dirty, smelly and noisy. The smoke is so strong my eyes and throat were stinging. Mattresses were probably last changed with the decor (approximately 65 years ago). Definitely will not be staying here again and will never forgive my friend for recommending this place!!!

Stayed here for a week and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. Staff are all lovely and very helpful.

This is not exactly a hotel, it is a cafe/restaurant with a few rooms. The rooms are small, noisy and the one I got was too close to a smoking area, a little kind of garden, which meant there were often times people talking outside the window and smoke smell coming into the room. The breakfast is quite simple. No true orange juice and no scrambled eggs, for instance. The best thing here is the staff. All nice and competent.

Definitely not value for money. Rooms way below average. You can smell inside your room the any kind of smoking from people outside. Very basic breakfast. Excellent location and good service.

We were looking to save money while in the area and discovered Hotel Winterhoff. It is an older dated hotel. We were satisfied with the accommodations. The hotel is located over the restaurant. A little rustic but clean especially the bathroom. It was exceptionally clean. Serves a nice little breakfast in the morning the personnel was extremely courteous both at the check-in desk and in the restaurant. If we are ever back in the area we would choose stay at Hotel Winterhoff again.
