We stayed in a dog-friendly ground-floor room in a quiet area of the hotel. It was a good size and came with a comfortable dog bed and two bowls, which we appreciated. There was also enough space for a travel cot. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. However, the room lacked storage, with no wardrobe, bathroom shelves, minibar/fridge or safe. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Staff entered despite our “Do Not Disturb” sign while our baby was napping, yet the room wasn’t cleaned when we later requested it. The hotel and room were clean overall, although there were noticeable spider webs around the outdoor dining areas. Bloms Bar seemed understaffed during the day, so guests often had to order food and drinks at the bar rather than receiving table service outside. The hotel is quite restrictive for dogs, which also limits dining options, as dogs aren’t allowed in the Brasserie. We travelled with a toddler and appreciated the children’s menu and discounted main courses, but families should note that children under 6 aren’t allowed in the spa or relaxation areas. Access to the surrounding water is also limited, making swimming with young children difficult. The spa was very busy, although my mineral scrub treatment was excellent. Overall, it’s a good hotel, but some rooms may be better equipped, and it’s probably best suited to adults rather than families with young children or dogs.

Lovely location but let down by service level. Stay there every year, but this year there was a noticeable lack of attention by the staff. Few smiles, long waiting times to be served and an apparent lack of customer attention. Not as it used to be which is a great shame.

Incredibly clean, friendly service, and spa and food were amazing.

Exited to go here after seeing all the pictures we arrived to a construction site. The whole outdoor area is being re-built. As we had a 1,5 year old with us that wanted nothing else but to run around we were very restricted. We arrived early 13:00 prepared that the rooms would not be ready as they says available at 15:00, in the end we did not receive our rooms until 15:40! Compensation for that, a free coffee! For the price we were paying per room a 1700 SEK, I do expect more facilities like a kettle, mini fridge and so on. Especially as any coffee provided by the hotel will be charged. Only positive thing was the staff in the restaurant. When the food came in and was not eatable they quickly attend and served new dishes in better standard without any fuss. And was very nice to have around. Restaurant had a lovely view and was not under construction.

Wonderful views and just enough to do while still being secluded. Sauna, tennis, canoe, hiking and golf. Town is a short bus ride away. Very relaxing stay - food is wonderful!

Hi, Smådalarö always delivers. As a cosy archipelago village the surroundings offer a great relaxing atmosphere. The service and hospitality is great and you feel very welcome. A part from a nice archipelago inspired breakfast and dinner service, the estate also offers private jacuzzi, sauna and golf/padel tennis/tennis. The golf course is genuine and well managed. It offers a rich golf experience although quite the narrrow holes (which keeps you on your toes). If you have a boat, you can park it in the hotels Marina. /A

Very nice play to stay! Will come back!

Nice place, especially for golfers. The only thing to remark was the restaurant, which was very expensive, but with few and not so good choices.

Nice place with good facilities, clean and good service. Good good but not top quality.

Weather was amazing and the location is beautiful, very cut off and not much around, but if that is what you are looking for then it’s perfect. Food in the restaurant was delicious, especially the breakfast. The saunas and jacuzzi are something really special to do. The staff were friendly, but very busy and sometimes took a while to get served or recognised.

Spent three days relaxing, walking, canoeing and just hanging out.

The best Hotel Spa in Sweden, top tier, incredible, super warm and welcoming staff and environment. Extremely family friendly. Delicious high quality breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Top class! View remarkable, calm and relaxing. Great facilities tennis, padel or golf. Elegant spa facilities bastu, pools, showers etc. including the team. Worth the money. Keep up the great work see you again next year! I forgot to take the name of the welcoming team, warmed our hearts.

Underbart ställe och imponerad av maten i restaurangen. Det enda problemet var att båtplatsen som var bokad via Dockspot inte var ledig och vi fick vänta över en timme för att det skulle lösa sig. Men personalen hanterade det superproffsigt så att vi blev supernöjda med hela vistelsen!

Trevligt hotell, bra läge. Bra spa. Tyvärr var inte restaurangen riktigt bra få valmöjlighetet på menyn och inte så bra mat. Vi fick dålig service. Hotellet uppger sig vara hundvänligt, jo på alla ställen utom restaurangen, vi fick sitta ute och frysa. Så, hotellet bra men restaurangen behöver skapa sig

Väldigt härlig övernattning här. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Maten god och spa-avdelningen mycket bra!
