Room was in the roof far too noisy not very clean around carpet rug edges especially at side & back of bed under table years of dust sadly .Noisy Hotel inside as well lots of people sharing rooms as people where knocking on doors to be let into rooms throughout the three nights we stayed hastent to add we got NO sleep what so ever & made us feel unwell pleased to come home . Staff were OK but not over helpful when Alarms for smoke detectors kept also going off on rooms near us also alarms going off in nearby pizzeria twice during our stay at 5.30 am .

Perfect location for travel into City Centre, plenty of Bars & Restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly. Only criticism I had was the awful drain smell that greeted me when I walked into the room. It really was bad, but they were doing some roadworks outside so wondering if it was related to that. Advised the Staff Member on departure and he said he would get maintenance to investigate. Hoping I don't get same room when I stay again next month haha!

Great location for several bars and restaurants and the hotels Asian restaurant is terrific

Great location, fantastic price and value. Reception staff were so helpful and let us park two cars overnight free of charge too. I stay often as it’s cheaper than two taxis. The main building is the best, good bar and lovely breakfast.

I have visited this hotel so many multiple times and I can say this is the best location and money wise one you can get in Jesmond. Hotel staff very nice and friendly and will be helping you 24/7 The one and only cons here is the hotel doesn't have lift (probably because of it's build) but hotel staff can help you with baggages. Also if you are parking over night you might be blocked by other cars in the morning (as car parking space is limited), so ask a staff about it so you can park in the front for easy exit. The hotel is pretty much close to the nearby train station and there are multiple pubs, grocery stores, and takes aways around the area. I found it specifically nice for the pubs in this area including the hotel's own bar. Overall I highly recommend this hotel

Great stay. Central and perfect for what we required.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, hotel was dated and although clean lots of fixtures and fittings were poorly maintained, for example showerhead hanging off the wall light fitting missing bathroom a bit grotty.

The room was clean. Bathroom was nice and modern. Only issue was hot tap was scolding. There was tea, coffee no biscuits or a spoon to stir with. Room had iron, fan, hairdryer. The bed was comfortable. We parked at the rear. We had paid for breakfast which was at the hotel over the road. Breakfast was self service but it was good. Bacon, sausage, scrambled egg etc. there was also cold meats and croissants. I would say we had a good stay

All very good, no faults at all, good value for money, great breakfast, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, lovely staff, would recommend, would definitely come again. Excellent location for attending events at the O2 city hall which is also amazing.

The room did smell strongly of cigarettes which was unpleasant, and the window was left wide open so the staff must have known, although not the fault of the staff but the previous guest/s. The room was decent and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I'm marking it lower as the shower screen fitting on the glass was very dirty and the sink was blocked and very slow to empty. I reported it but it didn't get fixed. Could have done with more coffee sachets as not enough, so should have been replenished from previous guests. The stair carpet was threadbare in places. Overall a very good location and a decent place to stay and would stay again.

Everything is good, nice shopping and restaurants and bars close by. City centre 20 mins by foot or 10 minutes to metro station.
