The room is spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The complimentary breakfast was ok, but I could see some rotten apples in the basket.

Overall good for budget, some rooms are old and need better cleaning and renovation

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! A huge room, beautiful and large bathroom, and super-kind and friendly staff. I must admit, that although I grew up in Edmonton, I was not familiar with this hotel, and did notice that the surrounding was a little different than my usual hotel stays (anywhere)... but inside, I felt safe, comfortable, thrilled with the lovely morning buffet-style breakfast options every morning, and very happy with the kitchenette in my room!! There are regular repairs happening in the hotel and I noticed the noise daily, but it never lasted long enough to interrupt any work (or meditation time) that I enjoyed several times a day within my room. I did have a hot/cold water concern (emergency) close to the end of my (2 week)stay, but somehow got through that with plenty of honest apologies from the staff. I would also like to mention that I met some of the fellow Kindest travellers/guests in this hotel that affirms that the Universe delivers whatever we are truly ready to receive. And... good Karma may be the Blessing that led this Soul chose this hotel. I would not hesitate to visit again. Thank-you Kind Staff, and thank you Beautiful Souls for a Beautiful experience with you All!!

I was pleased with my stay for myself and my partner. No complaints, air conditioning could have been better in room 217 but overall was good stay..

This was a no frills clean and friendly place to stay. The price was excellent and parking free. We caught Ubers from the hotel which was a great way to get to the relatively nearby attractions. The young man on the front desk was super friendly 😄

Nice hotel

I have no idea how this hotel got 8.3 stars. A few long dark hairs in bathroom. Sink and shower floor. Chairs in room were ripped to shreds , a\ c loud , repairs on walls and doors rough. Breakfast minimal. I would have had an egg but hard boiled eggs in bowl not individually wrapped. Coffee creamer warm tables and chairs very dirty and worn badly. The staff was friendly.

very good value for your money

The Argyll Plaza Hotel is in a convenient location for points of interest like the Midway Music hall. The staff here were very friendly, and the check in was quick. The rooms are very spacious, and have their own router, giving strong fast wifi, wich works great along with the included smart TV. The beds are really soft, along with the pillows, Wich for me was very comfortable, I had an excellent sleep.

Old and dark. Clean though. Bathroom was clean and bright but paint peeling off ceiling(no bathroom fan). Comfy beds. Excellent staff. Carpet needs replacing. Old and dirty looking. Parking OK.
