No airconditioning in the rooms

Everything was very good. Very friendly staff. Beautiful views. Excellent room.

So lovely to stay next to the castle. Breakfast was served in the castle and had many breakfast options.

I was only at the hotel for one night and arrived late. However the receptionist was friendly and said they would open the gym for me at 6am (instead of 7am) as I had to leave early. Breakfast was standard hotel fare with something for most tastes. The scrambled eggs were overdone but everything else was good. Coffee was a bit weak

Set back from the main highway but convenient to the city for dining, shopping or other attractions. Great for those who loves the outdoors. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

We stayed for a night and had a wonderful time. The check-in was smooth and the reception staff were very friendly. Our room was so nice: the bed was big and comfortable, the room was really quiet, the shower was large, and there were shampoos/ conditioner/ body wash from Rituals. We had food at the Bistro which wasn't the cheapest (about 25 euros each), but the food was really good. If you want to eat in the restaurant then you need a reservation, but then you don't get to enjoy the patio area next to the pond. The pool and sauna facilities were good. The pool is small, but it wasn't busy when we went in. We paid extra for the breakfast and it was really good. They had a very large selection of different foods. We would definitely recommend!

Very nice hotel wi the options for cycling and walking.

Amazing location not too far from the Aachen CHIO Horse show. We loved the amenities (pool was excellent) and the breakfast buffet. Rooms are spacious and bed very comfortable. Wish we could have stay longer. We will come back next year.

Fantastic resort to stay in, rooms lovely with very comfy beds and cleaned every day. We stayed for 5 nights the bistro food was lovely we never ate in the restaurant but it did look nice. The spa area was great lovely pool and sauna, gym available but slightly disappointed as it didn’t have a running machine. Robes and towels are available at reception however every time I asked for a robe none were available apparently this was due to the laundry service which the hotel used. Not a problem though as more towel’s were provided. Breakfast was amazing, great choice of hot and cold food available. All in all a fabulous experience. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful surroundings. The gentle stream running just outside provided a relaxing soundscape. There’s was a good choice for breakfast.

Friendly staff, really nice pool and sauna, fine dining restaurant was wonderful with great food and formal service. I was sorry we had such a quick visit. Will definitely return.

The best things about Vaalsbroek are its proximity to the countryside (in the middle of it!), the animals (hint...cows like apples), the mosoleum, the restaurant (fantastic), and the fitness / pool area. This is why I return. The rooms are Scandinavian simple and far below the level of Kasteel Bloemendahl (a more upscale hotel nearby where I also stay often). Service is Dutch (non-existent to poor). So if you want a finer hotel with better service, choose Bloemendahl. If you want to walk in the fields and have a pool and gym, pick Vaalsbroek. I alternate myself.

Nice hotel with good facilities and service. Very nice surroundings.

Found very well adopted to Covid-19 precautions. Restaurant and bistro recently re-opened, obviously complying with 1.5 meter distancing regulations. Compliments to the hotel staff! Nice indoor swimming pool. Clean room and good beds. A good location for visiting nearby cities of Aachen, Maastricht, Valkenburg and the ‘drielandenpunt’.

The location of this hotel is superb, staff very friendly, food outstanding.
