Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us Very clean, bright and open big room, bath and separate shower Floors creaked a bit but it is an old building so that’s expected Great breakfast made with good ingredients Would definitely stay again , worth every penny

Beautiful characterful old property with a pretty central courtyard and lovely friendly staff. Good breakfast served in lovely airy room but a pity other even simple meals not served although there are many options for lunch and dinner within a couple of minutes walk in the town so not a problem.

Cheap and poorly maintained. Staff was nice and kept the place clean but it was obvious there has been no investment in years. Worn out furnishings, terrible bed and a breakfast buffet that was ridiculously poor. Baby Bel for cheese, seriously. Terrible. Didn’t stay the full 3 days we had booked. My back couldn’t handle that bed for another night. Gave up a non refundable nights stay but it was worth it to go someplace decent. No pride in ownership. Not recommended at all.

The room was clean and well laid out. Very glad of electric heater as main heating obviously turned off. Even though it was May still cold for me at night. Synthetic duvets not warm enough for me so had to put my coat on top of it and wore socks in bed to stay warm. A secondary blanket would have been nice, should have asked staff earlier for one. Also the curtains although blackout did not quite cover all the window so light still came in at the sides. It was also a bit noisy at the front of hotel as you are on the road, so take ear plugs. A very good selection at breakfast although we did not not have anything cooked. The staff were all lovely. As someone who loves old buildings I really hope the frontage is given is given a coat of paint soon. Would stay here again as the rooms downstairs were delightful in their decor.

This quirky old hotel was wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel’s age means slanting floors and delightful artwork surround you. Don’t worry about the lift and luggage, the staff is only too willing to lug your stuff! Location to Blenheim, pubs, cute town, bus route is perfect. I stayed for five days and had a new breakfast every morning. Bath products are plentiful and nice. Also, drinks available if pubs aren’t your thing. Would stay again.
