Really nice property and had a shed to lock up our bikes. We stayed in a Victorian like room. Clean, comfortable, nice towels. Friendly welcome. Had an issue with a faucet in the room and we were immediately switched to a new room. The pub served good food and it happened to be jazz night, live band. Excellent full service breakfast!

A beautiful spot. We loved our room and had a great dinner in the pub. It included a fresh cooked breakfast which was delicious although the breakfast service was not great.

Great place to stay at! Right in Picton, a few minutes away from local shops, wineries and restaurants. The facilities were very clean and the staff was super nice. We had a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Charming, cozy inn with excellent service. Breakfast was included and it was excellent and very copious (we skipped lunch). Great location with nice walking trails close by. Garden was pretty and offer good relaxation. Also enjoyed the pub attached to the inn with good atmosphere and fun karaoke/live music.

Very nice room, decor, quiet, food was excellent both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.

Breakfast in Amelia’s Garden was excellent, lovely staff and manager. Our room was great, quite large, comfortable and well appointed. The grounds of Waring House are beautiful.

Country charm and excellent service!

Staff very friendly and great help with any questions we had. Breakfast was delicious and great presentation. Grounds and buildings need a little attention.

Great place to stay, excellent pub 60 ,70s music yahoo.

Perfect spot

They advertise breakfast included when I booked my stay ( literally the reason why I booked with them and chose it over other modern stays in the area) Turns out they lied and basically said we had to pay like an absurd amount per person for a brunch they offered a 15$ voucher but that still made the breakfast like 30$ per guest. Highly wouldn’t recommend as they are dishonest and falsely advertised. I booked at The June Motel the next day in the area and their accommodations are super modern and cute and they offer free wine when you arrive, continental breakfast the next day and they have a s’mores fire pit from 7-10pm. Price was slightly more expensive but the accommodation and service was WAY better.

This was my second time staying at The Waring House for a mini getaway and I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious, The Barley Room Pub (onsite) has a great atmosphere with live bands and a great selection of brews on tap, the staff is extremely friendly (a shout out to Heather the day manager) and the breakfast was excellent. The weather wasn’t great during my visit but I love that the Millennium Trail is right behind the hotel property for easy access to walking/cycling paths. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Our stay was relaxing bathroom cleaning can be little bit more thorough or checked better found dental floss picks otherwise everything was perfect in the room. Love the look of the rooms. Our breakfast was great. Staffs were great. We will go back.

We’ve stayed twice. The rooms need some much needed TLC. The first time we didn’t have a shower (tub with a shower hose, dangerous) and this latest time there was so much furniture in the room we couldn’t move around. The sheets didn’t fit the double beds. The mattress was exposed in one of the beds.….yuk!! Front desk staff weren’t friendly. Love the free breakfast and the pub. Staff are extremely attentive and friendly; food is delicious. We will go back but I will be asking for a better room.
